Adywan, thank you for making a lot of people, including me, so excited and happy with this. I’ve been following this project since I saw ANH Revisited and now the day has finally come for it to be released.

You’ve been through a lot these past 10 years and it’s so astonishing to see so how you kept going.

I haven’t even watched it yet, but I know it’s going to be great.

I hope for you that you feel very proud of what you’ve done. Really, this is such a big deal for the franchise and the fans and I hope for you too. I don’t know what so say, it’s almost unbelievable.

Alright, you're not even nearly done with ESB: R, but I've watched the Bluray version of RotJ and I've made a list of suggestions. I hope you could eventually take a minute to look at these? These suggestions are only for the first 30 minutes so far (before the execution scene), but here they are :) :

1. 2:00 - New space (more stars, more colors, more eye-candy)
2. 2:42 - Newer interface for the screen with the Imperial Shuttle. It looks very old, lol.
3. 5:00 - Could it be possible to restore Luke's saber creation scene?
4. 5:30 - Can you keep the larger door from the Bluray's version of Jabba's Palace? I like it :)
   
   
5. 6:50 - Add more life to the boar-like creatures (expressions like you did with Yoda? They really look like puppets now lol)
6. 8:18 - Also more life to the weird lizard/frog/dog-like creature on the floor? (Blinks? More mouth movements when it barks?)
7. 8:45 - Tweaks for Jabba? Mouth movements?
8. 10:26 - Also: the weird little mouse lizard could use a little update?
   
   
9. 11:10 - The droid torture machine doesn't really touch the droid's feet. Could the steam also be a little bit more realistic?
10. 12:30 - Give all the creatures a bit more life during Jabba's party? And please: keep the CGI ones :D I like them!
    
    
11. 18:53 - The red glow while melting Han should cover Han's whole body (Example: Han's hands and hair don't have the glow at the edges
12. 19:03 - Better placing of Han's face under the carbonite (his mouth is misplaced: too much to the left)
13. 25:15 - little tweaks to the rancor? :) Though I actually think it's quite realistic!
14. 27:15 - Don't let Luke try to break the iron bars that much. It looks quite silly for a jedi, lol.
15. 27:37 - Let Luke use a bit of the force to throw the skull at the switch?
16. 27:37 - More accurate hit of the switch? Place the skull a bit higher? After all, Luke is a Jedi :)

Oh, and before I forget: The following things also bugged me a lot:

1. Palpatines lightning still looks quite fake to me. Maybe you could make it look a lot better?
2. The worst and most fake part of the movie for me:
   When Vader decides to throw Palpatine, Luke gets up too quickly as if he doesn't have any pain from the lightning. It's like: "Hey lightning is gone and now I can watch my dad throwing the emperor away, yay!" Maybe you could slow down Luke while he's getting up?

These are my suggestions for now :) Sorry for my bad English, and also sorry if this all looks a little bit greedy. I don't mean it that way. I really love your work and I only want to help!

No, I'm not asking for stills, but I think that you should let someone watch the movie before you release it. I think that a 'beta-release' of the movie to some people will be a smart choice because even you can make mistakes. These people can check the movie for mistakes, and then you can correct those and release the final movie in the end.

Just an idea, but think about it. Some of the screens you already showed us, had some mistakes and the people on this forum discovered them and you corrected those. So maybe a beta-release to some people?

 I like the idea, but I really think the music of the 2004DVD is much better because it sounds more 'harmonic'. I'd also like it more if you kept the links to the prequel places and stuff. It's a great bridge to me.

The lightning from the emperor in RotJ really bugged me, because it actually has no 'depth', if you know what i mean?

Is Ady going to change this?

Yes they're both colour corrected by Adywan (a mighty fine job too).  Also they have corrected 5.1 audio.  In my opinion these are the definitve HD versions of the Original Trilogy, just waiting for ROTJ now.

All Adywan's HD stuff is sourced from the German Premier HD versions, don't worry though, they are in English.

 Dude, just... no.  In ESB, Luke is still a rookie, and his fight with Vader shows that he's greatly unmatched at this point.  Making it into some gradious battle just wouldn't make sense.  Maybe by the end of ROTJ, but not at this point.  Gotta keep it simple; the way it was originally is perfect.

 Ok, I'm convinced because he's outmatched. But it will still be great if he added some music (Battle of the Heroes) :)

2 - It doesn't matter if the prequels suck, the OriginalTrilogy is the future of the PrequelTrilogy. The interiors look prehistoric, not futuristic. That's why they could use a good makeover. They just don't fit anymore in the chronologic order.

1.There is lot more going on in this duel than just fighting. One thing the PT duel sorely lacked was any kind of emotional ebb and flow in the confrontations. The pacing is perfect.  Little bit of fighting, then slow it down, more intense fighting, slow it down, even more fighting, big climax! (This technique works in other areas as well...) 

The whole vader throwing stuff at luke scene is fine. The debris is flying around at a decent clip. Don't believe me, have a friend throw a garbage can at your head and see if it knocks you off balance.

2. This is a problem with the PT not the OT. Thankfully Ady has stated many times that he'll try to match the PT to the OT, not the other way around.

1 - He could speed up the parts where they fight, and keep the original speed when it slows down and they talk. In that way it keeps its emotional ebb and it would be so much more intense.

2 - This isn't a problem with the PT. It is a problem with the time, the things (at this point the interiors) are ment to look futuristic, but they just don't, due time(And George couldn't use the older interiors in the newer PT, because they would have looked old). Like I said, they just don't fit anymore in the chronologic order.

And Adywan can fix that!

My opinion:

1 not gonna happen, the fight is good as it is

2 not gonna happen, the interiors are fine, the prequels suck :)

3 like it, would be better if it is smoother faster

4 also good, since a LOT of people live/work there, just no overload, just a couple more here and there

It would also be better if he added some music as he did with ANH.
