Different changes of the original trilogy even existed before the special editions were created
Time

A YouTube video explains the mono and stereo tracks used different audio for some of the original trilogy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaeTOMvf67c . The video is pro Special Edition. I am glad the Despecialized editions of the original Star Wars trilogy exists. The mono and stereo tracks are included.

The end of Star Wars physical media

This is a punch into the gut. I recently tried to watch The Phantom Menace (don’t blame me) on Disney+, but the low bitrate and bad sound quality had to force me to turn it off. So I decided to plug in my HDD with an own rip of the film from my Blu-ray, with a prestine bitrate and DTS sound. The podrace scene was like night and day compared to the stream.

Bad bitrate and sound quality? Disney Plus version is 4K. Streams are based on your Internet connection. I prefer digital 4K versions of Star Wars over Star Wars on disc for the altered versions of the six films. I own Star Wars on digital HD. Eventually, I will purchase 4K versions of all 11 Star Wars movies. If you have ITunes, you can download 4K versions locally to your PC and cast the video to a smart TV screen or Roku device.

Will Disney eventually release every version of all Star Wars movies?
Time

Will Disney eventually release all versions of all 11 main Star Wars movies including the Holiday Special on Disney Plus? I would like to see the 1997 Star Wars movies on Disney Plus too. I am glad I have Star Wars 1997 Respecialized Edition. The original unaltered versions along with the theatrical version of episode 1 should be released too as well as the 1997 special editions. Puppet Yoda episode 1 should be preserved. The sequels probably do not need additional versions. Attack of the Clones has different versions. Revenge of the Sith does too. Empire Strikes Back 1997 depicts Luke screaming when he falls into the pit. I think it would be cool for Disney to release the 1997 versions again. I saw these versions when I was very young at the movie theater. It would be really cool if the unaltered versions of episodes 4 through 6 were released. I wish I could have seen the original theatrical versions of episodes 4 through 6 at the movies. I would rather have seen the original unaltered versions on the big screen than the 1997 versions.

I doubt this will be done anytime soon.

Who is Anakin's father?
Time

Who is Anakin’s father? I think Darth Plagueis might have created Anakin. I am not sure though. There was a comic book that showed Palpatine supposedly creating Anakin that was released during the Disney era, but it was deemed non canon. I think it could be both Darth Plagueis and Palpatine maybe. Ian was being interviewed on the Sidious Episode 3 documentary that while Palpatine may not be Anakin’s natural father, he was a father figure. Was he hinting that Palpatine was Anakin’s father along with Plagueis? Anakin’s fathers could be implied in episode 3 to be both Palpatine and Plagueis.

If this is the case, then it makes sense why the Jedi were reluctant to train Anakin. I wonder if Yoda realized that Anakin was fathered by the dark side of the force and that is why Yoda did not want to train Anakin.

I get why Leia still trained Rey now too with this logic. Leia realized Rey was a good person and not a dictator Antichrist like Palpatine was. The nine Star Wars episodes actually make sense from this perspective. Luke was afraid to train Rey because he thought she would go down the dark side path that Anakin and Ben Solo went down.

Dark science of the dark side of the force created Anakin in my opinion. Palpatine and Plagueis took part in this dark science.

I have Star Wars Episode 3 Full Screen Version DVD - is it cropped?
Time

I have been debating whether or not to purchase Star Wars Episode 3 Wide Screen DVD version because I heard that the full screen is cropped and stuff is missing from full screen releases. Is this true? I already have all 11 Star Wars movies in digital HD in wide screen anyway. Should I forget spending money on a wide screen version and just be content with the full screen version of disc 2? I notice the theatrical trailers on disc 2 are presented in wide screen.

Disney Plus should release all of the theatrical versions of the Star Wars movies on their service
Time

I prefer the unaltered trilogy versions of the original Star Wars trilogy. The special editions of the original Star Wars trilogy are still better than the prequels and sequels in my opinion. The Disney movies are my second favorite with the prequel trilogy being my least favorite movies. Episode 1 is my favorite prequel trilogy film. I wish Disney Plus could release the original DVD Puppet version of episode 1 and original theatrical version of episode 1. All of the prequels should have the option of watching the original theatrical releases. I heard in episode 3, there were different versions of the movie. Padme said this is how liberty dies in one version and this is how democracy dies in an additional theater version. Why did episode 3 have different dialogue versions? Disney plus should just release all of the cuts of all 11 Star Wars movies in my opinion. Also, Disney should make the Holiday Special available on Disney Plus. I think the Holiday Special is better than the prequels just because of Fisher’s singing.

Original Unaltered Trilogy Petition is happening on change.org!
Time

http://www.change.org/p/disney-release-unremastered-star-wars-original-trilogy-in-high-definition

People want to get the unaltered Star Wars trilogy released in high definition. I do not think this will go anywhere, but I hope Disney eventually released the unaltered trilogy. I do not think they will. Not for a very long time.

What's your take on Emperor Palpatine being brought back for The Rise of Skywalker?
Time

In the Last Jedi, Rey falls into a a hole. This hole foreshadows Palpatine’s return. Luke also said Rey went straight to the Dark Side when they used the force. This foreshadows Rey as a Palpatine. Snoke obviously is a Palpatine clone. The same music is used. Also, the ending scenes in the Last Jedi, plays the opera scene from Revenge of the Sith. Palpatine’s return was planned all along I think. Look up music tracks on youtube for Rey and Palpatine. The tracks are similar.

What's your take on Emperor Palpatine being brought back for The Rise of Skywalker?
Time

The Dark Side of the Force in Star Wars is Satan. Palpatine is the Antichrist of Star Wars. Order 66 is the Mark of the Beast in Star Wars as well as Palpatine wanting Luke and Rey to kill him. If Luke and Rey killed Palpatine, this would have killed them causing them to both lose their souls. When I first saw The Rise of Skywalker, I thought I was seeing a different character than Palpatine, but after rewatching it, it is still Palpatine. I think though this version of Palpatine seemed really Satanic than the previous versions. The Rise of Skywalker is better than Revenge of the Sith in my opinion. Snoke was forshadowing of Palpatine. Snoke is a Palpatine clone and a clone of Plagueis in my opinion. In the Last Jedi, Snoke has the same lines as Palpatine. He acts similar to Palpatine as if he is a clone of Palpatine. Palpatine cloned himself and Plagueis.

I was not looking forward to Palpatine coming back when I watched the teaser trailer, but I do not mind it now. To me the Snoke mystery has been solved.

Is the unaltered original trilogy an alternate universe now?
Time

Is it possible that the unaltered trilogy is an alternate universe since the special edition universe is canon with the sequel trilogy since Hayden had roles in both Return of the Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker films? Is it possible that the prequel and sequel trilogys never happened in the unaltered trilogy timeline? I think they could have still happened after reading responses from theforce.net forum. It depends on preference. I prefer original unaltered trilogy to special editions.

I think it would be interesting if the unaltered original trilogy is an alternate universe to the prequel and sequel trilogies.

The Rise Of Skywalker — Official Review and Opinions Thread
Time

The Rise of Skywalker is a great ending to the Skywalker Saga. Episode 9 is the best movie of the Disney sequel trilogy. I think The Rise of Skywalker is more emotional than Return of the Jedi because of Leia’s death. I prefer the Rise of Skywalker ending over Return of the Jedi ending. The original unaltered trilogy along with the special editions of the original trilogy are still the best Star Wars movies in my opinion. Rogue One is the best prequel movie in my opinion.

Hello. I am jpb19. The original unaltered trilogy is my favorite version of the original trilogy. I am in the process of creating a fan fiction and text adventure video game called Star Wars Episode 0 Genesis that will just take place in the movie universe.
