So looks like Disney+ is already available as a beta version on Netherlands. Could anyone check for updates?
Is “Three Little Pigs” the original version or the “new” one without the jew disguise? How about Melody Time?
Does any classic have a different master than its BD counterpart? Or maybe open-matte versions?

The list is huge

The Little Mermaid (1989) - 35 mm (fully funded)

So… Disney just released a new 4K Blu-ray of The Little Mermaid. Apparently the master is the same as the 2013 Diamond Edition, but the colors were changed. Somebody on blu-ray.com complained about its accuracy, particularly the colors of Ariel’s fins. Here’s a comparison (all screenshots are from this link: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=16124013&postcount=439 , except the last one, which I took from this print)

For those who wants “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” in HD and without that awful DNR, it’s available (unfortunally without it’s opening credits) on rutraker as part of the “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse” special

I thought it could be used in a preservation project, but as it doesn’t have a high bitrate (around 4287kbps, it’s a web-dl/iTunes rip) I don’t think it may be useful.

EDIT: BTW, there’s a better, 10 mbps version at a certain spleen 😉

I just noticed that there is a Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition coming out in a few weeks.

I'm confused, I had thought the last BD was a DE.  Anyone have any knowledge of what to expect from this?  I can't imagine they can "restore" it anymore than they already have.

It's the same disc (same transfer, even the same trailers announcing old blu-rays like "pinocchio" and "the princess and the frog")
