Need help with burning Adywan's files with Imageburn

Clarify "hasn't worked correctly". Do you mean the disc failed to verify?

Well I may have spoken too soon. I've just now noticed that this is actually a "blue-ray" on a dvd which needs to be played in either a PS3 or blue-ray player. I've been trying to watch the dvd on the dvd player on my work computer. I'll try it in my PS3 at home. Hopefully that will work.

Need help with burning Adywan's files with Imageburn
Time

Title should be sufficient, but I have the file for Adywan's The Empire Strikes Back corrected color version. The file folder I have has both the ISO File and Image file.

I've tried burning this to a DVD-DL with Imageburn, but it hasn't worked correctly. Anybody have any tips for Imageburn, or can you suggest a different (free) program to use to burn to a DVD-DL?

Thanks,

Jason

Hey, I've actually got a techincal question about TESB-Colour Correct version. I've tried using Imageburn to burn to DVD-DL but it's not working correctly. I've searched the technical/how-to forum but didn't see anything (except for a thread about Nero).

If somebody has a "how-to" I'd appreciate it if they could PM me. Thanks.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Thanks guys!!

I'm actually just burning the first version of revisited with the Ponda Baba "flipper" hand and no extras.

Theatrically, I like that version better because although I do agree that it looks like Ben also hits Dr. Evazan with his saber, Lucas must have had in mind that it was Baba's arm that got cut off.

Although I do love the visual commentary Adywan has on the DVD-9 version!! He must do something with cinematography and have an eye for this stuff, because there are things he changed for the better that I never even noticed the first time.

The dogfight at the end is just a work of art!! It would be awesome if Lucasfilm took a hint and "fixed" for the last time the things Adywan has done for the blueray or 3-d versions of the films.

You will see it has had a few tweaks since the last video. But this is the final version. I will not be doing any more work on it.

OMG!!! That was truly amazing!! I have always hated the SE version of the Emperor scene. I liked how Lucasfilm put Ian in as the Emperor, but I always hated the Darth Sidious robe and especially the extra lines about "Anakin Skywalker."

Adywan, you have truly made the definitive version of that scene!!

I was just talking to someone last night about ANH:R and realized that I hadn't checked on TESB:R in a while. Can't wait to see the final project!!

3. I too did not like that Chewie had a medal, simply because it just miraculously appears.

Jason

If you look at that scene closely again you will see i added an extra shot of leia preparing the medal and chewie steps forward in the right hand side of the frame, then we cut to Luke as she gives it chewie. So it doesn't miraculously appear. Its a quick shot so easy to miss on first viewing.

I'll have to double check that.

Do you think it is possible to make Han walk in front of Jabba in the deleted Jabba scene? I really love that scene except for that one thing. However, if you were to ever fix it and put it in; you'd have to put the Han vs. Greedo dialogue back to the original (cut) version where Greedo tells Han to "get up or must I finish this here" and Han replies "I don't think they'd like another killing".

Also, do you have the CD Death Star image without the Star Wars logo and writing? I'd love to use that image in some of my customizing dioramas and such!

Awesome work adywan, can't wait to see Empire!

Jason

Without having a 1976 Harrison Ford to do/say what we want, making Han walk in front of Jabba when the only footage we have is blocked by Jabba's fat CG body would be pretty hard, and having Han say things he we don't have recordings of at all would be impossible.

Adywan has said that he is done with ANHR. If people are able to add thoses scenes back in, that's great, but Ady's not going to be the one to do it. He's too deep into ESB.

The original dialogue from the Han vs Greedo scene is on the Making of the Magic Cd and can also be seen on several youtube clips. The original (cut) scene doesn't say anything about being boarded by Imperials - that was going to be saved for later. When Lucas saw that he wasn't going to be able to use the Jabba scene he put the whole "You think I had a choice, even I get boarded sometime" voice over in the Han vs. Greedo scene to explain why Han owes a debt to Jabba.

I'm sure with some of adywan's magic he could have made Han walk in front of Jabba. Maybe if I learn some stuff about video editing I will make it my crusade to fix that scene; and the stupid double edit of Chewie entering the docking bay!

ziz is THE MAN!! Thank you, Thank you sir!! I've got two different versions of adywan's revisited. One version shows Ponda Baba's flipper hand cut off on the Cantina floor; the other shows Dr. Evazan's hand on the Cantina floor. I think there is a difference between how Alderaan looks when it blows up also. I think one has like a nova-ring and the other doesn't. Anyway, does anyone know which version is which? I think I'm kinda liking the version with Dr. Evazan's hand, even though the original (cut) version did show Ponda Baba's. The gun matches Dr. Evazan's and it does look like Obi-Wan strikes the Dr. Also, I am liking Adywan's edit of the Mos Eisley streets better and better. Not really missing the ronto-humor anymore. However, just can't seem to accept Chewie and the medal. Jason

Ok I still cannot find the link anymore on this site http://fanedit.org/517/ to download the torrents. Is it still there and I am just missing it, or did someone take it down? I'd like to have DVD-9 with the deleted scenes, but I only have 10 or the 80 files downloaded. Any help here would be hot.

Jason

The MPAA took it down. The whole site. You're on your own on finding the rest of the rapidshare links. Someone might have them handy, but there is no easy way anymore.

WOW!! I just got the movie-only downloaded and burned to a dvd just in time. Does anyone have the DVD-9 burned to a dvd that they would be willing to copy for me? You can either send me a pm or email me jlw515@hotmail.com thanks.

Yeah the sound seemed kinda loud to me also.

List of things I didn't like (and I know it all varies from person to person):

1. Didn't like that scenes were cut out of Mos Eisley SE version. I like that he went back to the original road block scene without the big ronto in front of the screen, but I really liked all the other stuff from the SE.

2. Didn't like that the Jabba scene was deleted. As I've posted before, I know why he did it; I just wish someone would actually work on making the scene look right (maybe figure out a way to make Han walk in front of Jabba); and go back to the original (cut) dialogue of the Han vs. Greedo scene.

3. I too did not like that Chewie had a medal, simply because it just miraculously appears.

I saw a clip on youtube that claims to be an adywan clip of "Bail" and "Jar Jar" on Alderaan just before the planet blows up. Is this on any version of adywan's film edit?

By the way, in the book "The Making of Star Wars" they mention that the Ben's hut scene was spliced and split from the original script; so Adywan put back in its correct order - and it flows so greate!!

The final space battle is just awesome!! Adywan deserves a job with Lucasfilm!!

Hey, hey, calm down, there - it's a perfectly reasonable mistake to make, and I don't think he was being a smartass about it either. In fact, I think it was YOU who were being the smartass to begin with instead of politely explaining that selling here is against the rules.

Thank you!

Anyway, moving on...

I got the video downloaded. I chose to use the link with only 18 files to download. So, I don't have all the dvd options, however, I'll probably go ahead and download from the other link with 80 files just to have the super colossal dvd.

Haven't watched the whole thing, but jumped to the final space battle at the first. Truly amazing!!

The only thing I didn't like about adywan's revisited version was the fact that the Jabba scene is missing. Now, I understand why; because the SE version is terrible; but I like the scene. Of course the only real way to put the Jabba scene in would be to change the Han vs. Greedo dialoge back to the original (see Making of the Magic cd) so you don't have that redundant "Even I get boarded sometimes, you think I had a choice" line. Also, to me, the only way to truly make the Jabba scene work right would be for someone to make Han walk in front of Jabba instead of behind him on his tail. I mean give me a break, the biggest crime lord of the planet and you're actually gonna step on his tail, and none of his goons do anything? Give me a break!!

Other than that, this is truly what Star Wars should have been; and this is now in my opinion the definitive version of Star Wars A New Hope

Do you mind reading the rules? We don't purchase anything here.

As far as your problem goes you need to get all the files in the archive then unpack them.

Well, let's see; this makes my second post and there are 261 pages to this thread; so it would be easy to miss something. But now I know - and knowing is half the battle.

Ok evidently I am doing something wrong. Even from the link you gave, I can't figure out how to download this thing. Is it only available for download or can I buy a dvd. And if its only available for download. How do I download the entire thing. The only thing I got from that link was like the opening menu to a dvd.
