How does Kylo get the Falcon at the end of the movie? Lando and Chewie have it at the battle, then Kylo gets it to bury the sabers?
These versions are phenomenal, I would strongly encourage you to make a version 2 if you think you could improve them!
Hi, I just finished AOTC and it’s great! Definitely my preferred version moving forward. My only critique is I would prefer to remove the line “good job” by obiwan in the arena. It seems antagonistic without any lesson learned/taught, and makes obiwan come across as an asshole. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this whole project. Definitely my favorite edits of the sequels I’ve seen! Here are some thoughts on this movie specifically.
-Delete Poe saying “somehow palp returned.” That line is just too much! Even just deleting the one word “somehow” would improve the delivery. I really like the way it is done in the Hal9000 TROS Ascendant V5 workprint 2, where instead of Poe saying anything, we just hear Palps’ message. I recommend you just copy that.
-Anything that you can do to strengthen the idea that the galaxy responds in this movie because of Luke’s sacrifice/legendary status, and that this is why the galaxy responds now but didn’t in movie 8 with Leah’s personal code. I realize that you did include some of these changes (including the ‘for skywalker’), but I think its just such a good point that it doesn’t need to be too subtle.
-I find it personally annoying that 3p0 can read the message but not translate it because of his programming. Does this have a basis in legends? If not, maybe we can make it that 3p0 can’t actually translate the message, or is missing some piece to translate it that Frik is able to fix?
-In the death star, make evil Rey look a little more like a vision or a dream, maybe some blurriness? It is hard to tell that evil Rey is a vision, but that Kylo coming out of nowhere is real. I always think that he must be a vision too at that point. Or maybe show that his ship landed before we see him so we know he’s coming?
-I don’t like Lando at the end telling that girl ‘let’s go find out where you’re from.’ Feels like an old man creepily hitting on a younger girl. Consider cutting that part.
-Why do all the destroyers fall throughout the galaxy at the end? Seems to come out of nowhere. Is there a (legends) reason for this? If not, maybe cut that part.
-I think it minimizes 3po’s sacrifice to have R2D2 give him back his memories at the end. It would be better if R2 could just tell 3po rather than have a memory restoration procedure. The flashbacks are nice though.
-I don’t like seeing Luke somewhat trapped between worlds at the very end. What would be nice is if he could be really free now that this saga is at a conclusion. If you show him meditating in that scene between worlds, then disappearing altogether from there, it could show that he gets to be fully free now that the saga is complete.
Overall, this is the best version I have seen, and with or without these changes, will def be my go to version. Thank you again!
