My gut says the 2 shot version because although I appreciate the third “extra” shot to help transition lave to forest idea … it feels like it’s overly using establishing shots. It feels like too many little pieces. I feel like less is more would fit better, personally.

Watching the clip hal, I think it looks good with the ties and whatnot not. I am colorblind, so I couldn’t contribute any color related things regarding some of the discussion.

I would say, if doable, the soot or speckles really, really stick out to me … kinda like dust on the film more than a scenic thing. If they could be cleaned up/remove, then it all looks great to me.

How about both? Have two versions and people can choose which one? (Although the shuttle makes more sense, my heart says TIE for the imagery/Symbolism.)
