I am assuming that since toast has a BDMV option that it would use the proper UDF format, though I don’t have anything concrete to base that on
So it seems that Toast 11.04 CAN actually burn exiting BDMV folders and certificate folders. You just have to drag and drop. Not sure what I was doing wrong initially, but it wasn’t working before.
Do Blu-ray discs need to have the titles be on all caps for them to work properly as on a DVD or doesn’t it matter?
For instance, if I drag and drop these folders, it titles them as follows: Star Wars Despecialized v2.5 BD25
Should I change it to something like: STAR_WARS_DESPECIALIZED_2_5?
It’s certainly cost effective!
Don’t thr bdmv and certifcate folders need to be burned under udf 2.50? Thr method described abov sounds like it is making a data disc, which probably works, but still isn’t “right.” The mac version of ts muxer I have doesn’t seem to make isos, just bdmv and certificate folders, so I still need to burn those
Trying to avoid a windows solution if possible. the Mac TS Muxer, at least that cracked on that works with 10.6, doesn’t seem to be able to make an iso, but it can make a blu-ray disk from an mkv with (I’m assuming) no reencoding as it only took like 10 minutes to do it. I could be wrong on the reencoding
what I need is something that is able to properly burn the BDMV and certificate folders to a blu-ray disc on a Mac
That seemed to fix that problem! Thanks! I imported the MKV from the Negative One file and selected Blu-ray disc as the output and began mixing and it seems to be making a blu-ray disc of that MKV (Hopefully with no quality loss).
Now all I need is software that can burn the BDMV and Certificate folder to disc properly (Though a ripper would also be nice too)
Yeah, after download, it won’t launch. It just automatically crashes. I will try that though, thanks!
Made a similar post in the Negative one thread, but this is asking something slightly different, so I am posting it here:
I am a Mac user. I have a Mac pro 1,1 running OS 10.7.5
I just installed an internal Blu-ray burner into said Mac Pro.
What is the best way to burn existing BDMV/Certificate folders to blu-ray disc properly on a Mac?
I see Leawo has what is supposedly decent software. is that the way to go or is there something better?
I was also referred to TS Muxer, but I can’t seem to get that to open on my Mac without crashing.
I have no intention of buying a PC, nor do I want to put these on USB drives or stream.
Any suggestions?
Feel free to PM me to avoid cluttering up the thread 😃
Couldn’t really find anything definitive anywhere on this, so I will ask here:

awesome news Harmy
Looks great!
Anxious to see this. Thanks for all you do!
Just finished watching it. Looked fantastic on my setup (47" Panasonic Plasma with Oppo BDP-93). Awesome work!
Anxious to watch. Seeding at the Spleen
Subscribed to this thread to follow it. New to this project, but not the site. Hoping to get an invite to the blog too as this sounds really great

And lastly, no, the Biggs scene was conclusively never present in any officially released cut prior to 1997.
Except to those of us rebels who swear we remember it.
Like Luke missing with the grappling hook...
There may be something to this. A friend of mine who I have known since the second grade (more than 30 years) used to insist back when we were kids that you had to see the movies when they first came out because they cut stuff from it later. He seemed to remember things that may or may not have been in the films THEN
Looking forward to this. Not knowing how to mux in audio on an AVCHD, this is probably my best bet. I don't have a blu-ray burner as of yet, but may get one at some point (I am on a mac)
After I posted that, I realized I have an external hard drive I can probably use as well. I'll figure it out - or I'll wait for the AVCHD or get a Blu-ray burner and do the Blu-ray when that happens
Edit: And what Cobra Kai said. I love my Macs :)

I'm a little clueless about all these different video formats. When going from mkv to blu-ray, do I need special software to convert the mkv stream to a blu-ray movie?
I'm on a mac if that makes a difference. Still looking for the best mac blu-ray burning solution as well.
I am on a Mac too. I have heard Toast with the HD plug-in is the way to go for Blu-Ray for us Mac people

Yes, 15GB video stream is the plan.
I have an Oppo BDP-93. Would this be something I could dump onto a flash drive and play that way? Would it be fast enough to handle it or will I need to use a hard drive?
Cool, thanks!

does anyone know if it is possible to burn a Bluray on a mac?
It is with Toast and the HD plug-in I believe. of course you have to install a Blu-ray drive too
Very cool. Loved Puggo Grande!
