Just thought I would revive this old thread as I have yet to find a step by step guide unless I missed it. Anyone have any links or info? Looking to do the same thing. Have, the bit perfect sound card, opitical input etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hey guys, been searching through the threads and think this is an awesome project. been trying to track down the DTS LD soundtrack of Mortal Kombat like a few others on here. I have the disc, laserdisc player with optical out, SB X-fi with optical capture capability which apparently can do bit perfect audio recording. I believe Dark_Jedi is close to releasing the track but I wanted to give it a shot just in case he gets too bogged down to complete it. (even though I rather use his haha) I could of swore someone wrote up a how to record DTS audio somewhere in the forums but I no longer can seem to find it. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks.
