I’m not totally pleased as of yet and I will need to re-watch it when my brain has had a break, but take a look and give pro’s and con’s and feedback. Also I’m not sure how you guys feel about the Piano Theme getting a second chance, but I think it fits for the ending. I could also just leave the scene alone. I like the duel tho’.

Dude… This is tragic, that piano and then the flashback when flying away. Bravo, honestly I don’t really have words for it, it hits so hard.

Note that some of these scenes need (more) SFX replaced, as to not have scores bleed into one another. Some scenes are finished, and some are not. I do not want to continue work on the scoring before I’ve heard some opinions.

I would agree, most of it works great but that Reva v Vader scene kind stands out as really fast paced. Other than that most of it works great

Oh my, don’t traumatize me.

I think we should get one thing straight right off the bat. Reva will be in episode 6… its gonna happen whether we want it to or not. Hopefully its minimal so we can end he arc in episode 5 and just have Ben go back to Tatooine, or fight Vader one last time and THE END. If its not i can only hope its nothing lore breaking like her kidnaping Luke or something dumb like that.

This is what I’m worried about. She doesn’t need her own show and Kenobi doesn’t need a season two. Not sure why people are so insistent on this happening, just let it be its own thing and be done.

• Episode 4 might have to be included (as I struggle to find a believable way to have the ship be tracked) without episode 4. Episode 4 also builds heavily upon Tala’s character (which they killed too early you ask me).

• Reeva won’t get back up and crawl to the holo-communicator-thingy, we’ll leave her wounded, with the camera panning down to it. The rest can happen off-screen (for what I suspect to be the season 2 change rumored that Disney has done).

• Leia “The Engineer” reaching the wires and then fixing it will happen without a five minute gap. It looks like she’s struggling to move away wires for way too long.

• Removing some of the prolonged shots in which Stormtroopers have way too much time on their hands to actually kill civilians but just… don’t.

And probably more.

Love everything about this, I’ve felt the show to be average at best, although I have enjoyed it for the most part, but I know there are a lot shots and pieces of dialog that if taken out could really elevate the show

And PS:

imagine how beautiful it will feel when The Force Theme plays as Obi-Wan prevents the glass from crushing down upon them, followed by him steering it towards the Stormtroopers.

And:

As for Darth Vader not killing Reeva for her “failure” (although she for the first time ever did something smart in this series you ask me), remember I don’t have the scene with Vader on his throne warning her, so this doesn’t create any problems whatsoever.

100% yes to The Force Theme, but one thing I’m curious about is the Reva scene, are you going to completely cut Vaders “YOU were warned what DEFEAT would bring!” line? Because it will feel a bit out of place considering the scene where he first talks to her in his castle is going to be cut. Maybe there’s some potential to reuse that scene somehow to transition into the final scene with the tracker on the ship? Something like:

Obi escapes Inquisitior fortress > Vader talks to Reva “don’t fail me again or you won’t live to regret it” “yes my lord” > final scene with Obi and Leia which pans down to the Droid with the tracker?

Apologies if it’s to wordy I’m just throwing stuff to see whats possible.

To be honest, I prefer something like this version but I am biased since I made it AND don’t like the original version with the “occasional random bass” so I would like opinions.

I like the inclusion of Imperial March, but not as bombastic as it is here. This is meant to be a sinister moment it feels a little off putting, something along the lines of the version from Rogue One would work in my opinion if your willing to try that.

And yeah, I think the idea tracks in your mock up, but I’ve seen it so much I may be biased. Though Rey wouldn’t necessarily have any idea the map might be in R2, so she would just be fixing R2 without realizing what is in him. So I can see that being an advantage of adding 3PO to that scene. Still think it would be worth a mock up even if you waited to mess with any effects.

Absolutely love this idea! Seeing a couple hyperspace jumps right before Starkiller destroys the Senate would really help tie into TLJ as to where the bombing fleet came from
