Congratulations on this great piece of work, if only *this* movie had been released back in 1991 i think i would still be such a big fan of Highlander as i was before “The Quickening” (and dont even get me started on the following sequels).

I believe your version 2 would be just perfect if the few audio glitches were gone, a few silences throughout the movie kind of hurt the pace and the viewers attention.

I just wanted to congratulate Darth Editous for this amazing piece of work, i found out about this projects recently and downloaded this first. This is simply the Star Wars Episode IV movie as it should have been shown in theaters when the re-issue happened in 1997.

This has earned a spot in my DVD shelf; as the *only* version of EP IV i own (besides the VHS trilogy i purchased back in 1995). The way a movie should be seen in these days, anamorphic 16x9, DD Audio mix. And as i said in another thread in these forums, i must admit i enjoy the polished FX as made by Lucasfilm and ILM in the last decade.

Correction: its not sluggish, progress has been practically non-existent for more than a week now, and im stuck at 20% of the download.

I guess i should state that im a big fan of the originals and hence I would really prefer to have these editions made from DVD because of the image quality and i must admit, the polished FX made in 1997 and in 2004. Plus i am quite certain that this would be the only way to have an anamorphic tranfer, i seriously doubt that any of the similar projects in here made from Laserdisc remotely resemble an anamorphic 16x9 presentation.

The torrent i found after much googling is 7.96 Gigs; that includes additional content besides the movie, for which i dont really care about. Perhaps someone could point me in the direction of a movie only torrent, and so solving my problem?
