If you have the money then the one stop shop for audio restoration, that I would hearty recommend, would be the newest version of iZotope RX you can afford. There may even be a monthly subscription available. A cheaper route with some other software might be out there, but nothing that has the power of iZotope that I can vouch for. Youtube has some pretty good resources as far a learning iZotope as well. Personally I find it to be a good user experience, but then again I’ve been using it for years.
What exactly are you trying to restore? What problems are you running into? What software is already in your workflow? What is your video and audio editing software skill level? Any extra info would be helpful.
