No, it doesn't, and don't make me slap you. I am using Bitoorent but I show no seeders and no peers even though I know that they're there. Am I doing something wrong on my end?

What client are you using? I had the same issue because I was using the official "Bittorrent" client. There was an error message that said to check the FAQ for approved clients. I downloaded μtorrent, and then grabbed the torrent file again and everything started working fine.

I will second x264. I just watched The Fighter in x264. 2.4GB and I'd be hard-pressed to distinguish it from Blu-Ray at normal viewing distances.

I don't think the torrent would die, and if we get a lot of people seeding, it would be very fast to dl. I don't know what the original download solution was going to be, but there's no reason we can't do both.

(if it was that speed-capped dl site it would take about a year to come down :) )

I've been following this endeavor casually for a while now, but just got around to downloading the sample. Fired it up on my 50" panny plasma, and WOW! Very impressive. I definitely appreciate all the effort being put into this and can't wait to get my hands on it.

Pardon me if this has been discussed, but what about bittorrent for sharing the files?
