Just finished V2. Awesome work as always Hal! You lifted Star Wars to new levels (I’m also talking about your prequels work).

About the force ghosts at the end, Qui-Gon seems like an obvious addition. Also, everytime I watch the scene I expect more Jedi, I don’t mean more characters but anonymous ones, robed and hooded, this would make a nice balance against the Sith worshippers in the stands surrounding Rey and would strengthen the line:… I am all the Jedi

Also just finished it. Finally a watchable movie concluding a watchable trilogy. Congrats to you Hal for that, you change the way I will be viewing Star Wars in the forseeable future (this includes your edits for the prequels).

There were some things that pulled my attention and ideas that I wanted to share with you:

In the beginning during Rey’s training run there is a wide shot where she runs across a tree/bridge/something Already with her lightsaber ignited, while a few shots later she (re) ignites it, I don’t know if this is a mistake or not?

In your notes you say you extended the desert scene with Kylo’s Tie fighter. Too be honest it felt kind of stretched, it feels like it could be trimmed just a bit.

Maybe it’s my version or my tv but Kylo’s saber looked very orange during the duel with Rey outside of the Death Star.

I had goosebumps during the ‘all the Jedi’ sequence! (also loved Lei’s purple saber!), I just thought that during the final seconds of the force ghosts helping Rey there should be way more jedi force ghosts behind the four main one, emphasizing ALL the jedi, maybe with known jedi (like the old council) or just cloacked force ghosts. The four main ones (loved Alex Guinness btw) should still get the spotlight, just some more in the final moments.

Again, fantastic work!
