cool video. My 2 cents:

-Motion blur looks great on that shot.

-Vader with a lightsaber seems wildly unnecessary. Putting him on the defensive damages the coolness of the character as well, IMO.

-As far as the residual green screen goes... perhaps it's there; however the "fix" doesn't make any sense as the pilot's goggles are tinted orange... you wouldn't see blue sky through orange goggles, obviously. Those shots are probably fine as-is.

The new trooper did not even register as a new thing for me. Looks completely natural, and does not bother me in the slightest.

I am blown away that there is even discussion about the shadow over the Emperor's eye. Why shouldn't there be a shadow there? He's got his head somewhat tilted, and the right side of his hood protrudes more than the left. To my eyes, it looks completely natural.

Love the new clip! All the shots with the sky traffic fleeing the city look great, and I'm blown away by the last few shots in that sequence. What an improvement!

I'll throw my 2 cents in and agree that the Yoda blink could be more realistic if it were quicker.

But beyond that THANKS ady... for sharing the clips and for everything you're doing! I've been following this project for months, and it's endlessly fascinating to me.

I don't get it. When or why the soundtrack is altered?

The shake will give a sense of extreme mass to the At-At, plus if ady will do the ground braking.

Sorry, what I meant was: at the moment, you don't hear any sound effect when the walker hits the ground. If i'm not terribly mistaken, I think I recall Ady saying that he waits until all the visuals are completed before working on the audio. So I imagine the added sound effect would make the whole thing pretty satisfying.

Although I DO think a camera shake might be cool... I feel like the sound effect might be enough.

Regarding Jabba's palace... I feel like Ady will have to cut Sy Snootles out entirely. Of course the SE version looks like some bullshit from Shrek, but the original puppet was beyond awful as well; I can't see it allowing for convincing 'cantina-ization'.

But we call all agree that Lapti Nek, is superior to, or at least less distracting than the abomination that is 'Jedi Rocks'.
