lol, I am glad I am not the only one, BTW the new "hand" looks great, the fixed tie scene does also, the xvid looked good but this thing looks 10 times better, I am really amazed by it. I can't wait for the NTSC DVD9!!

No worries Adywan, we can't thank you enough for your work. I saw the ESB trailer on the DVD and you improved over the Emperor hologram even more than the first trailer you posted, it looks amazing!! It looks just like ROTJ emperor, you are a magician, I am really excited for ESB Revisited now!!

Star Wars Prologue - Epic Prequel Edit (Released)
Time
Anti-matter, thanks for your reply to my questions, I really appreciate it.

In the matter of Qui-gon, I believe making him disappear would be problematic, as we would be left with the question of why he did dissappear when all the other Jedi that died in Geonosis did not. In the Episode II novel Yoda is surprised when he is in meditation while Anakin is killing the Tuskens and he hears Qui-Gon's voice, he is surprised because up until that point no Jedi was able to retain his identity after becoming one with the force. This is the technique that Yoda will learn from Qui-Gon and pass on to Obi-Wan between Episodes III and IV, I think this is best left alone as seen in the films, it adds a little mistery and if anyone tries to change it it would only become more problematic and confusing.

My opinion is it should be left alone, we know enough, before Qui-Gon all Jedi would die and become one with the force ala "Nirvana", he somehow found a way to retain his identity and communicate with the living after death, he passed on this knowledge to Yoda and Obi-Wan who perfected this technique and therefore dissapeared after death and were able to communicate with Luke as a voice in ANH and later on as an apparition.

Star Wars Prologue - Epic Prequel Edit (Released)
Time
Hey Anti-Matter, nice to see people have been inspired by Adywan's edit, I'm liking what I have seen so far, it is a really interesting concept.

In my opinion EpI had a lot of good material but unfortunately it was shadowed by the crappy one, the biggest of all being Mr. Binks, nice to see you have been able to remove him. Are you plannng on keeping the whole midichlorian thing? What about the prophecy of the chosen one?

I like the idea of making all 3 films into one nice prologue. I will look forward to this one. Have you uploaded what you have so far to a.b.starwars or just torrent sites?

Time
Wow Ady, are you a machine? you don't need to sleep like the rest of us? lol, I will be looking forward to this edit, ESB is my favorite film ever, I'll love to see what you can do to improve it.

Nice trailer, the emperor hologram looks better, Are you planning on restoring Vader and Palpy's conversation to match the original one or are you keeping the new one from 2004?

What you have done is nothing short of bringing us to my mind the best revamped version of Star Wars I have ever seen.

I second this, I have told friends about it, they are very excited to see it and I'm even more excited to show it to them. This edit has in a way revived Star Wars for a lot of us, please take all the time you need, but reconsider doing this for ESB and especially for ROTJ, in fact if it is possible do ROTJ first, that movie could really use your help.

I say this because I watched the original scene again and, when R2 starts to show the Leia recording, C3PO reacts to it even though he previously says that he was shutting down.

In Ady's cut, it all flows perfectly so it's not an issue. Funnily enough, I didn't really notice it until watching Ady's cut because I thought that he made C3PO's head move for his version, but it's in the original cut.

I wouldn't be surprised if that scene was originally scripted or filmed in that order, that scene is one of my favorite parts of Ady's edit.

The other thing that I felt should have been addressed but was never talked about is the "looping" of the tusken raider, when originally filmed the editors only had footage of the tusken raider raising his gaffi stick after attacking Luke so they looped the footage they had back and forth to make it look like he was raising it up and down, this effect has always bugged me and has never been addressed, it would be nice to somehow ease it up to make it look natural, I know it might be too late for that however and if it is impossible to fix it for the DVD then disregard my comment entirely.

Ady, is this possible? Yes, no?

Ady, thanks for answering my post, I believe it is just the shock of how different it looked from what I am used to.

Is it possible to do anything about the tusken raider "looping" or is it too late?

I got tears in my eyes as the deathstar was literally shooting at Yavin IV and then exploded... I... wow...

I forgot to comment on this, that was pure genius!!

PS: Where the heck is the GL cameo??, it's driving me nuts, lol.

Ady I watched this thoroughly yesterday and was really amazed at the amount of work you put into this, I agree with everyone that the most impressive moment was the Tie attack, well the whole Death Star Battle was amazing, the briefing with the new Death Star plan's, the control room with the new "holo-display" now this guys are actually looking and pointing at something instead of an empty space!!, the Obi-Vader Duel was enhanced soo much, I still haven't figured out how you could make it look "faster, more intense" with the footage you had available, it looks like an entirely new scene.

The scene between Luke and Obiwan inside obi's hut flows sooo much better than the original, and feels like it was always meant to be that way somehow.

The color correction was spot on for the most part, however, and this might just be me but when inside the death star there are a few shots that look like this: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/lorindelong/truck.jpg, I believe you de-saturated everything except the things that have colors other than white-gray-black, I think maybe little reflections that were there bumping off walls are now gone and that is what gives it an unnatural look. Again, this might just be my perception that has been corrupted by watching the special editions for years, if it is I apologize and ignore this.

Again, Adywan I thank you for this edit, it is the best thing to come out of this community so far and we will enjoy it for years to come, personally I can’t stop watching the Death Star Battle!! Simply amazing work.

This message is directed to ADYWAN, anyone that has an urge to call me names and ask me to make my own edit will just be ignored.

Awesome clip!!, Everything looks so right, is completely seemless. I wish I would've been on the Q&A as well, I will definetely join the next one.

I do have to agree with NormanS on this minor thing though:
The explosion right at the end, looks a bit odd. I think it's because it follows the camera as it pans to the right (it's like sticked in the center)

But I can live with it, God only knows how much you have fixed already, and I thank you sir for all your hard work.

I have a question, on the Q&A you said you will add our names to the end credits, how do you plan to do this?, getting them all from this thread will be a major headeache.
