I am happy to announce the release of this fan edit project for a film that got me out of depression. Joker 2019 Alternate Extended Edition. I have added any and all scenes that were removed on the official theatrical release (by removing watermarks etc) and unofficially from the trailers and anything that aired on tv (and try to make them make sense with shortening or switching out scenes if needed). It is encoded with H.264 video and includes a 5.1 AAC audio track in English.

Hal 9000 thanks for providing this fan edit and everyone elses hard work/contributions. I provided tons of voices on reddit when you requested it. I sent 100’s of recordings (even in Mickey Mouse voice to make you laugh).
spoilers ahead . I enjoyed most of it. It was great to hear people talk when they show up to help with the battle. The only thing I hated and it drove me up a tree in theatres and made me barf/cut my wrists was when Rey responds to the old lady and says she is Ray Skywalker. NO NO NO NOO!!! NEVER IN ANY DIMENSION IS SHE A SKYWALKER! If she said just “Ray” or “Ray Palpatine” it would of been fine or “I am a jedi”. UGH. Any plans to modify that at all or remove that stupid scene all together?

It worked fine for me for those times. Use MPV player or redownload the file. Here is the SHA256 and MD5 Checksum you can check it against.

Someone posted a YouTube video with the links to The Phantom Edit, Attack of the Phantom (an edit of Attack of the Clones made by the same guy who made The Phantom Edit), and Backstroke of the West (a bootleg copy of Revenge of the Sith with infamously awful subtitles). I can’t link the video here, but you can find it by searching “phantom edit download links” on Google.

AotC was digitally shot in 1,5k… So there is really no need to restore it in 4k.

Edit: Got it thanks. Great Job Adywan. We just need an HD version now and maybe better placement of hardcoded subtitles! There are maybe one or two more things that still need to fixed with this version but its a good start (Naboo Bridge / Subtitles). 😄

You have the bridge that was added to the 2001 dvd, Just after the queen leaves back from Naboo following the shot of the palace. The Original theatrical didn’t have the shot the cgi bridge to the left where the river is. Also certain shots of the Podrace sequences look soft and I can understand you taking the route you did but maybe you didn’t know. Being you want to make this a HD Preservation, the digital movie collection has the original podrace sequence in full hd . So you can have that one crowd shot on and Watto yelling Subulba in HD and not a upscale. Also what kind of audio did you use out of curiosity. There’s nothing bad about it I was just curious if you went with the DTS track that’s available ?
I didn’t use the DTS track, I just used the audio from Schorman’s HDTV Preservation and adywan’s DVD. I’m probably going to make another version with that, and the HD podrace (if I can get it, because I don’t have the Digital Collection or any money to get it lol) and fixed bridge. I didn’t know the bridge was a thing, so I didn’t even make any change from the HDTV.
It’s not easy to keep up with Lucas’s changes. Thanks for attempting this SparkySywar and hooking us up with links. Theres great videos on all the changes made you can watch on youtube to get you up to speed on this if need be. I noticed that when Subulba insults Anikan before the race in theatres the subtitles say “Skywalker” ater he says “You’re bantha fodder!” even though it doesn’t sound like he says it.
I think most hate CGI yoda and this fixes that in HD 😃 and is better than a “Good Enough” attempt for me.
Theatrical TPM was also aired in Finland. Too bad it was at the beginning of the digital TV age when recording set-top boxes were very expensive. I recorded it to VHS via a regular set-top box and I still have it.
So very sad isn’t it?

‘We ❤️ Star Wars and give it all the moneys. Please don’t sue us.’ - this applies for every Fan Edit on here (not just for Star Wars releases) - we pay for the official film/tv/media release beforehand; via purchasing the blu ray or digital download etc.
Patience is also key… take the time to look around the site and read up on how the site works - and doesn’t…
