And add in “Now!” From “Now you will experience the full power of the Dark Side” (from the Yoda confrontation)
And add in “Now!” From “Now you will experience the full power of the Dark Side” (from the Yoda confrontation)
Have them not leave? and Palps repeat the command after a short awkward silence?
Or you could just add grumble-y dialogue as they get up and leave (something to the effect of “ugh, really? Again!? He always does this!”)
Oh hey look, I checked of one of those last remaining to-do items…adding “ambient” background noise to the theater scene.
Whas it ever suggested to have Palpatine’s entourage refuse to leave at first?

In some shots (like one or two?) when Han and Leia are arguing and when they first hear the Dianoga, her belt seems to be slipping down her leg (at least that was what it looked like when I saw it yesterday on the big screen, it could have just been trash I guess).
Did Adywan ever fix the continuity error with Leia’s belt almost falling off in some shots in the Trash Compactor scene?
My suggestion: make the Emperor’s shuttle unique, paint it red, or black, with the Imperial logo on the side or something.
Links are on hold until I can get hold of rips of the additional special features on the 3D Blu-Ray.
So, I want to replace the main stereo audio track from the LOTR DVD’s with a stereo track with unused score mixed back in, how would I go about doing that without quality loss? (Darkened image etc.)
Use David Bowie’s line in Labyrinth “Nothing Tra la la!?” during Han and Leia’s argument in the Ewok village (after Leia says “nothing” obviously).
I got an email saying that I received a private message from an “evan”, but I checked my PM’s and didn’t see it.
The link the email gave me looked like this:
Nah, just my phone being difficult.
Just thought I should mention that LEGO TFA has the SFX mix for the cutscenes as separate tracks.
I’m just curious, when you rip the music, do you adjust volume levels? I ask because I’ve noticed, in my own project (not related to Star Wars), that the music volume tends to fluctuate depending on if there’s someone talking or if there’s some other sound. And if you do adjust the volume levels, is there some kind of consensus on how this should be done? Like how do you differentiate between a section that has been turned down in the editing room and a section that was intended by the composer to be quieter? Or is it just done by ear?
I do it by Ear, I probably get it wrong most times, but I am usually satisfied with the results.
He’s also Dr. Zarkov’s ill fated lab assistant in Flash Gordon. Raiders is about the only movie I’ve seen him in where he doesn’t die!
He is also in Superman IV

THAT final theme. Just Wow.
It should be used in edits of ROTS.
From the first viewing (should I say hearing), I can’t get out of my head that if I was the one to name it, I’d say that score should be called “Will of the Force”. Again, it’s tragic, but its sober and heroic, all at once. It has (difficult to express in a non native language) some kind of solemnity that makes it very fit for grand events which are determined by Fate.
ROTS should end on that note. Not as it stands now with QuiGonn’s funeral theme grieving on Anakin’s decissions as if those decissions had been truly his, but more with a sense of “these things happened because they were meant to be from the very beginning. This is how cards unfold”. I guess this angle was chosen on rebels exactly because we knew what inevitably was going to happen with Ahsoka, and the music sort of supports perfectly that very concept of greek tragedy, unavoidable fate has come to be for master and apprentice.
From a certain point of view, that should be the spirit of Anakin’s journey.
Filoni should be in charge of a Star Wars movie, preferentely featuring Anakin Skywalker. He has proven to be worthy of that more than anyone close to Star Wars in recent times. He has what it takes to redeem the character.
Just saw this, that is an arrangement of Ahsoka’s theme, called “It’s Over Now”
Yeah, but I thought the rule was the the FYC must represent the music as heard in the film.
So there’s the album end credits (obviously just an edit for listening purposes).
Actually that is the cue as written and recorded, the FYC version just tracks a bit of music from March of the Resistance, if you compare that section of the Album and FYC tracks and the March track, you can hear the differences and similarities.
The film uses the longer Concert Version of Rey’s Theme and Scherzo for X-Wings, the theatrical used the FYC version of the end credits cue.
