I’m just curious, but what would new footage of B-Wing and X-Wing pilots during the Battle of Endor even add to the story? What would their lines of dialogue even be?
There is a great promotional image of B-wings taking out a Star Destroyer that was everywhere in 1983, you can easily find that image on google. But the shot was never in the movie because the B-Wings didn’t work well against green screen. Adywan said he is adding that in. I don’t know what he has planed for the X-wings, but I’d like to see it.

That scene was off in more ways than one. The sky is white instead of Blue (I notice a lot of Star Wars shows have white skies) and there are no ship lanes in the background. The prequels always had ship lanes in the background.

Oh yeah. I’m going to smoke some ribs, get a peach pie & some strawbery cream soda, then set up camp in front of the TV. Did the same thing for Empire: Revisted. That was a good day.
Someday the technology will get there to clean up the deleted scenes, and someone will do it.
