Poor evelyn will now be forced to complete this survey using her own unfortunate personal experience with Darth Id as validation...
We here are sorry that you have been treated in this manner, evelyn. Please tell us a bit more about what brought you to our site and perhaps some of us might partake of your survey...assuming that being a party to cyber bullying is not a prerequisite.
Hello Praetorian,
Good question. Much of previous research on cyber-bullying has focused on adolescents, with less research focused on an adult population. We wish to explore the prevalence of CB in adults, potential risk factors and also associated out-comes of experiencing CB (whether as a victim or perpetrator). We are also interested in people's views on who is at risk of CB. Somebody raised a very good point on here regarding coping strategies in response to CB. This is something we may look into at a later date, but first we need to understand the level of CB in adults, and associated outcomes.
The reason I posted on this forum is because we are trying to gather a wide-response range, from people who use the internet (such as those on forums).
There is no exclusion criteria, apart from you must be 18+
Hello,
I am looking for participants to take part in a short 15-20 minute survey about cyber bullying, online experiences and digital technology. Anybody can participate. The survey is being run by Dr Betts and myself from Nottingham Trent University, Division of Psychology. It has received full ethical approval from the Business, Law and Social Science's College Research Ethics Committee at Nottingham Trent University.
Further details about the study are provided on the first page of the link, but if you have any questions please PM me or contact Dr Betts using the contact details provided at the beginning and end of the survey.
Many thanks in advance to those who complete the study, it is much appreciated.
