You’ve been here long enough that I would have actually given you one had you posted in the correct thread. You know, the one indicated in the stickie? Instead of making another new thread in addition to the stickie, the active thread, and the one randomly bumped from ten years ago.

I started to go through the pages and I wasn’t able to see anything about Myspleen invitations. Now I can see the stickie you mention, but I swear I didn’t see it before.

Sorry to have bothered the people, and thank you anyway!

PS: OK, now I see it. I read the rules and I don’t know why I thought I had to post a new thread. I must be getting old… 😦

“Disney Will Never Alter or Restore Original Star Wars Trilogy.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has officially confirmed that they have no plans on messing with the cuts and intend to leave the movies the way that George Lucas did when he revisited them in the 90s.”

Long live the Revisited Saga!!! 😃

Missed Chewie’s growl from the pit the first time, that’s a nice touch! Shouldn’t it be heard just a tad earlier? At the moment we see Artoo bounce up from his fall (supposedly hitting Chewie there), for example? Or even earlier, as Chewie could growl in anticipation of Artoo’s fall and/or as surprised by the sudden activation of the hyperspeed…

i really love 90% of the canyon scene, but I do have one issue with it.

In the original, the camera following the MF in the second shot does a bit of a turn and rotates slightly, mirroring the path of the Falcon, like the camera swoops ever so slightly. This helps create dynamic tension. Your shot is a steady track forward. Even though the camera moves at the same speed, the dynamic motion is missing, and so it feels "slower."

I know it's probably too late to re-film it, but I would always regret not telling you in case there was a chance to tweak it.

Keep up the great work, Ady!

I was watching that scene dozens of times, wondering why in the original version the faster impact didn't look so fast, and you totally hit the point: that slight camera movement makes the original chase look "faster" and the "fast" impact looks accordingly right

For every question like this, there is only one answer: if its a choice between making the OT match the PT or the PT match the OT, the Prequels will be modified to match the Originals, as it should be.

... and should have been (from the start, GL) ;)

^True, it is a silly name.  Who besides me grew up thinking his name was Bubba Fat?

In Spain it was worse: "boba" it's a femenine adjective meaning "silly", and in the films they pronounced "fett" without the "t" ending sound, so it sounded like "fé" (faith)... So altogether, Boba Fett in Spain was "silly faith" :S
