I think the Ewok problem in ROTJ could be fixed by replacing them with Chewbacca's race or putting them more in the background and having Chewbacca's race help them out maybe?

However, for Empire I recommend the Empire have Hoth surrounded except in the few areas where we see the rebels attempt to escape. I also think there should be at least some Rebel ships in space get blown up by the Empire as well. Although I don't think it likely ...
