my star wars story is a very... lets just say backwards story.

i never saw star wars until the revenge of the sith came out. i know, i know. how did i live before that?! well i saw that in theatres in a big group. i didnt want to go but my friends went so i was like sure lets go. and i FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. i think i was 16, turning 17 so it was later than a lot of people first seeing star wars. so after seeing that, i saw it again. i decided to go to the store and used like all my money and bought all the old ones and the other two new ones on dvd. i wasnt sure if it was a good idea becasue i havent seen any of them and i made a major purchase and bought them and ive been watching them ever since :]

well its going to be on a trifold and im cutting out a square and hanging my poor attempt at the death star from it haha. i am talking about three things in it:

1. how star wars fans are not percieved as geeky as star trek fans ( i was going to come here for that opinion too but i realized it would be extremely biased :] )
2. how religious people see star wars and how certain people think it is like its own religion and....
3. how the original trilogy differs from the new ones... not the movie but the ideals and movie experience. everything seemed different then. my mom saw the original one in theaters and hasnt seen any others. i have some original comic books im going to bring in along with a stuffed ewok :]

i should have electronic info so i'll post what i have here :]
i am really excited to start my actual project.

thanks everybody!! :] :] i appreciate it very much.
and im making my very own death star out of a styrafoam ball for my presentation haha. i'll definitely take into consideration everything everyone has said and it helps my topic have a more personal insight than it would have if i just read reviews. thanks again!

I am doing a presentation on anything I want regarding fantasy/scifi and I chose Star Wars.
I am new to these boards so i dont know the age demographic here but if anybody was an original fan in the 70s can you give me your opinion about…

what you think about the original trilogy vs the new trilogy and…
how the release of the original to theatres was different than the new three.

i’m a freshman in college so i wasnt there for the original so i dont know what the general opinion is firsthand… :[
