Idea: a Star Trek 2009 Extended Cut?
Time

I actually ended up doing my own version during the summer. It became a fanedit as I ended up removing the Spock/Kirk Childhood moments. My version included all the klingon scenes, extended green girl scene and the extended kobayashi maru test.

I had to throw in a klingon warbird from an older movie to replace the unfinished cg for the surrounded narada. It happens so quick and with subtitles on the screen, you don't notice.

The movie gives Nero a much better story and makes kirk even more of a douche but I like it.

I never put it on the net, just burned a bluray 1080p with 5.1 for myself.

Idea: a Star Trek 2009 Extended Cut?
Time

I was wondering if anyone is interested in creating an extended cut of the latest Star Trek film. I think it would be awesome to put all of the deleted scenes back into the film, and we could see some of the more awesome scenes involving the Klingons. All of the scenes are complete except for the Klingon attack on Nero. If anyone could finish the effects on that one scene where the Klingons de-cloak their ships that would be amazing. So far this is what I have complied, now we know where each deleted scene fits into the film. The placement of the one scene involving Sarek and Amanda I am not sure of.

Deleted scenes:

spocks birth- opens the film

klingons attack the narada- right after we see federation shuttles leave

Amanda and Sarek argue- right after spocks fight

Corvette - precedes the joyride

Interrogation(ends before he is taken away)-immediately after vette scene

Nero escapes from prison-kirk & mccoy leave earth and read 3 years later - fade to escape

Sarek and Amanda-right after enterprise hits warp?

Green girl room scene- extended replaces theatrical

Kirk apology to green girl-after uhura tries to comfort spock in elevator

Sarek sees Spock prime-right after convincing Spock to stay in fleet
