I watched the 3rd movie too. Once again thank you for your amazing cut and the efforts you poured into this project and thank you for saving me the trouble of going through the fillers and the immature bits within the original content. 😄

Please note that these are just comments on my first time watching this content. I have no intention of underappreciating what you have done with your edit, which will remain my go-to when I wanna revisit the series. The majority of my notes are likely my issues with original writing of the show. :3

• English is not my primary language. I assume you wanted to use “shadowy” in the opening crawl as a reference to the title you’ve chosen for your movie. Though it could be only my opinion but I think it throws off the tone.

• I totally see what you had to do with showing Omega helping the killer hound. That being said, short hair Omega jumping to longer hair Omega jumping to short hair Omega again felt a tad confusing.
  As a suggestion maybe you can just remove the scene of [longer hair] Omega attempting to heal the beast’s wound. It would still make sense that the beast is helping Omega escape as payback for being set free.

• Eremie changing sides felt unbelievable, makes me wonder if there’s more to her reasoning that wasn’t shown.

• To me it seemed weird that Omega kept mentioning they’ll get help from Hunter and Wrecker but no mention of Echo. As if she knew he wasn’t with them at that time. At this point I guess I’ll just get used to Echo not being a permanent memeber of the batch cuz he disappears later too lol.

• Any chance you’d be able to upload smaller ones if you update your movies in the future? I do encode the files on my end but they take forever to download.

The scenes and dialogue around the Kamino trial was something I was never 100% happy with. I cut the trial for timing and pacing issues. However, the original edit was done before AI dialogue was a thing for us amateurs. Now that I have (just this minute!) completed episode 3 I’m going to spend a couple of weeks going back through the first 2 episodes to tighten them up and release the final versions as a completed trilogy. AI dialogue will hopefully improve that sequence.

The whole Gregor episode was a bit of an annoyance. I really didn’t want to include it because it was a side quest, however, Hunter’s capture is a major plot point so it had to be included.

I’ve just looked at that sharp cut you referenced. I have an easy fix for that now that I can use a bit of AI dialogue, which will allow we to slightly extend the scene on the Marauder.

Let me know what you think of episode 2 once you’ve viewed it.

regarding the 1st movie:
AI dialogue sounds like a legit good idea for perfecting the fan editions. For the kamino trial you can likely remove the clone trooper mentioning the trial and just telling the batch that Tarkin requested to see them.

Another note to add is Omega and Wrecker walking out of the bar at 1:06:20. At first glance I thought you put it there as a clue for Omega going back to Cid’s room to pick up the Dathomir bowcaster thingie but on the second glance it was clear that she already has it and that she is heading outside.

Also after peeking at the show it seemed like omega met Fennec before she was kidnapped by Bane. just wanted to say your cut was seamless cuz it didn’t seem like they met before in your version.

regarding the 2nd movie:
As my first time viewing this season of the show, there’s not much to say, meaning how well done your edit is. The plot’s quality was definitely lacking compared to 1st movie because it didn’t grab my attention much and I watched it over 3 sessions.

• My only note is the treasure compass subplot (i don’t know if it’s something the creators left for the 3rd season). Wrecker just mentions they’re tired of waiting for Phee and they just forget about it. Same can be said for the Dooku castle subplot.
• oh and another thing, Cid’s threatening transmission at 1:13:40 and why the Batch decide not to respond to her doesn’t seem well established. As a suggestion maybe at a previous point you can also use an AI dialogue to mention they’re ditching Cid and she’s gonna be mad or something. It would also make more sense on why she sold them out to the empire later.

Watched the first movie as a first-timer and here is my review (or rather my comments):
First of all it was a superb edit. I told myself I’m watch it in 20-30 min parts but the next thing I knew, I was 2 hrs in. Even I could tell this was an expert edit so job well done!

Here’s the some stuff I noticed missing while watching this:

• It wasn’t shown what kinda trial clone force 99 was put on and it jumps straight to Tarkin complimenting them. Not that big of a deal compared to my next 2 comments and I can guess it was too much to fit in but I’ll leave it here as a note.

• weirdly fast transition from bad batch’s ship to the officer guy instantly conversing to Tarkin around 1:00:00.

• Gregor just vanished after getting rescued 😦
  Update: i skimmed through the show and apparently it’s the same there?! 😮

Thanks again for your edit and thanks for the effort you invested in this series! Hope I can watch the 2nd movie soon and comment on that too, if it’s welcome ofc 😄

This was a great cut overall! i enjoyed and I think it’s fair to rank it above Solo among my watched star wars movies. Alas, even an edit as good as this couldn’t fix how low budget it looks.

yeah I checked the cosmic force episode with more attention and I stand corrected 😄

Regarding Dreams of Destiny, another unexpectedly brilliant touch to mix the contents! I wasn’t aware of Forces of Destiny and it captured some interesting (and in my opinion, necessary) moments. That being said I think there’s somethigng with FoD that still throws off the Tales of the Jedi episode’s tone despite your perfecct edit. It’s probably the soundtrack and the cheap-looking 2D colorful animation that doesn’t match the serious tone of the episode explaining how Ahsoka pulled off what she did in the finale. It’s just an idea, I think FoD bits would work better if they were added as post credit content to previos episodes. I think post credit scenes have grown to be more common in TV shows (peacemaker for example) and animes already did them. It works in animes too bc usually they use a cheaper art style for their post credits scenes ( take Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen for example).

As a 25 y/o who loved Andor and decided to give other star wars media a chance, this was SUPERB and I thank you for it. As I’ve told my friends this cut is on par with the prequel trilogy and they should try it too if they liked the prequels. I powered through the original show for 3 seasons and when I reached the Citadel and Hunted arc I was sure it was gonna remain peak afterwards. Alas, I was so disappointed because of abundance of useless, less mature bits. Then I found your version (via reddit) and it helped me get through the rest of the show ❤️

here are the few notes for what I can remember:
-As for the Retribution episode: So brilliant of you to mix contents of season 1 with season 4. It fits so well!
-Dessent on Umbara episode: That scene with Krell getting stunned was one of the very few moments one could tell this was not the original cut. It could’ve had a more smooth transition to getting stunned scene.
-As mentioned above the Citadel arc is one of my favorite arcs and as originaltrilogy/Rogue One/Andor fan I got so excited for Tarkin’s first appearance in the prequels era and the events of the episode suit his personality so well and is also a better introduction for his character instead of The Forsaken. So it makes more sense to me to have it as the one of the main episodes instead of an extra one.
-I think there’s possibly too much cut from the Cosmic Force episode. I had to ask around to fully understand the concept of force ghosts and that Qui gon learned it and he later on tought Yoda as well.
