Ok, so I obtained another version 6.76gb - same odd framerate when viewed on my PC. Ran it through MutiAVCHD to create a disc and BAM problem solved. Not sure if thats MultiAVCHD's reencode or if playing it on the BD player w/ 24fps playback "fixed" it - but I really dont care. Looks great. Feels great.

Looks spectacular compared to all other releases even at 720p. Cant wait for a proper 1080p bluray w/ a special edition looking this good/better.

That makes sense. I dont have cable anymore and rarely, if ever watched broadcast movies. I forgot that they up the framerate and that is in keeping w/ the effect I am seeing.

It's similar to my HDTV's "120hz mode" which I watched for about 2 minutes when I got the TV and promptly turned off.

So yeah, thats probably it. Bummer, guess I'll have to keep waiting for a proper bluray because the effect is extremely distracting to my eye.

I'm viewing a capture of this new cinemax version and the framerate seems off. i'm getting that odd pan/scan queasy feeling from it having what I would consider "unnatural movement".

Now, Im sure its due to the uploaders encoding job but I was wondering if anyone here has noticed this in any versions they have seen.

Thanks a million SYA!!! The file is coming down [after even more captcha hassle] assuming it unpacks correctly w/ the other files I'll re-zip and put all the files back up on MU to put an end to this "uloz" hassle :)

edit - nope the file I got wasnt the right one. it was part1 for the DVD5. damn. I guess I just cannot get this file.

 my jd is updated. no go on part one though. tons of posts on TP with the same problem. I really think part 1 is offline.  I know a v2 is in the works, but I'd love to get this version for my own twisted completist reasons. :)

wish it worked for me. been trying for days. the first rar just gets stuck in a captcha loop in JD as well as the host site.

Does anyone have part 1 of the dvd9 avchd rars? I cant get it off paradox for some reason and would love to see this in HD as well as to reupload.

theres 2 (to my knowledge) PAL w/ a slight a/v sync issue towards the end and a NTSC conversion w/ the sync issues corrected.

both are SL releases.

the "most up to date" would be the NTSC conversion.

NTSC version available on tehparadox now, on FEinfo shortly.

Uploading NTSC version tonight, will be available on FE.info shortly.
