STAR WARS: EP V &quot;REVISITED EDITION&quot;<strong>ADYWAN</strong> - <strong>12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW</strong>
Time

1 - Oh common! Imagine how many better the fight will be! Why shouldn't adywan do that as he did with Obi vs. Vader in A New Hope?

It would also be better if he added some music as he did with ANH.

And the worst part is when Vader starts throwing things to Luke (with the force offcourse). It really looks fake! Those things won't hurt at that low speed. Maybe you can speed those things up?

Face it xD ! The fight just isn't spectacular anymore. In my opinion it really has to be a little pimped!

2 - It doesn't matter if the prequels suck, the OriginalTrilogy is the future of the PrequelTrilogy. The interiors look prehistoric, not futuristic. That's why they could use a good makeover. They just don't fit anymore in the chronologic order.

3 - Thank you :D !
4 - Thanks again :D xD!

So, Adywan/GoodMusician, please consider that you add these things to the list.

1.There is lot more going on in this duel than just fighting. One thing the PT duel sorely lacked was any kind of emotional ebb and flow in the confrontations. The pacing is perfect.  Little bit of fighting, then slow it down, more intense fighting, slow it down, even more fighting, big climax! (This technique works in other areas as well...)

The whole vader throwing stuff at luke scene is fine. The debris is flying around at a decent clip. Don't believe me, have a friend throw a garbage can at your head and see if it knocks you off balance.

2. This is a problem with the PT not the OT. Thankfully Ady has stated many times that he'll try to match the PT to the OT, not the other way around.

3. I don't particualry care about platform speeds.

4. More ships would be fine within reason.

Less Offensive Midichlorians
Time

Midichlorians may be worst idea of the entire prequel trilogy, although the whole vader turning to the darkside because of love could beat it out since that destroys the entire Anakin->Vader->Anakin story ark.

In the OT, the force was mysterious and beautiful... "For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere."

In the PT the force was turned into just a tool that those who were genetically predispositioned used. It's as if Lucas wanted to suck out all of the wonder from the SW universe.  Hey everyone apperently the force is an STD.

Ultimately I think they should have gone with Baronlando's "they could just sense it".  It was already esatblished int he OT that Jedi could sense one another.

Luke chopped off the front of that Speederbike with his lightsaber, and that's what sent it spinning into the tree.

I see Gaffer has an avatar (finally)! ;-)

I was going to suggest that anyone who didn't have one should be disqualified! LOL!

That one is the last one where he cut the front off.  So the whole sequence at least from depths of my memory is Chewy, Han(knocks the dude out at least), Luke(jump onto 2nd speeder), Luke (I'll take these 2... shoots at one,  then the scout runs into a tree), Leia (hers speeds up to turbo knocks her off her bike, then he crashes into a stump) and finally Luke (on the ground with his lightsabre)

Who took out the second biker scout during the speeder bike chase? 5 POINTS

It depends when the "chase" begins.

If you count the first two biker scouts Chewy gets the first, Han the second. In the chase proper, Luke kills the first by throwing him off the bike, the second one just runs into a tree.  So Mr. Tree took out the 2nd biker scout (If that isn't a badge of true SW nerdom I don't know what is.)

has anyone burned this successfully with a program other than Imgburn?

As I've said a few times, DiscJuggler worked fine for me with the existing non-fixed .iso. The media I used was in fact a 2.4x Memorex DVD+R DL. But now I've finally exhausted my supply of those, so the next discs to get will be Verbatim, the People's Choice in DVD+R DL. :)

I used Roxio:Easy Media Creator 9 without the fix as well, it burned just fine.

While we're on the subject of blank media, can anyone recommend a good printer that can print directly on white-labeled media?

Like printing right on the discs? I thought I saw some that said they could do that, but it makes no sense to me...

I've had good success with the Epson R-series of printers. The way they print on the discs is theres a little tray that goes in the bottom of the printer and it just prints on it like it would normal paper.

I have a question for you Adywan, I guess this question can be directed to others here as well. I've been trying for some time now to get on a PIF chain, to acquire a DVD-5 NTSC version of your edit, but have been unsuccessful. I've sent polite pm's to a half dozen posters here on the board, who I believed would know of such things, but I have received no response from anyone. I still have not seen the completed version of Star Wars Revisited, I'm incapable of downloading the movie because of the limited technology I possess. Adywan, if you or anyone else could please just point me in the direction of someone who is part of a DVD PIF chain I would be grateful. Thank you. Sorry to go slightly off topic and sound like a beggar.
