Taxi Driver commentary? (from the Criterion LD) (Released)
Time
Scorsese is an Oscar winner! All the more reason someone should rescue this!

Perhaps the track could be contained in a package with some other Scorsese stuff that isn't on DVD and it would be up to the user to play the track (in whatever formats -- .mp3 or otherwise) with the movie instead of making a DVD purely for the commentary?

I mean, I don't know of much. The Color of Money has no features. The recent SE of Casino by Universal is missing the theatrical trailer. Bringing Out the Dead is kind of barebones. Anything?

Howard The Duck - special edition (Released)

So, as far as I can understand from the thread, there are two brief cuts. Are they going to be included at all? Maybe as a minor extra?
Perhaps someone could add windowboxed versions of the shots from a VHS? It would suck, but the film should be "complete". If not, adding them in as an "extra" the same way would be nice.

Also, what else is definitely going to be on this release?

FAN EDIT REQUEST THREAD - Post your dream Fan Edits Here!
Time
This is a huge thread so I didn't read it but I have one just-for-fun edit, one nitpicky edit and one EXTREMELY nitpicky edit.

I like the first Transporter quite a bit, and I am still baffled as to why Fox's double-dipped "Special Delivery Edition" wasn't an "Unrated" cut that restored all the fight scenes. On the DVD they're rough, but maybe someone could make them look better, and then cut them into the film. The sequence on the bus, particularly, was one I am still disappointed is not in the film in its entirety.

The second is Ong-Bak -- not a great story, but a spectacular showcase of martial arts and much better than the follow-up, The Protector/Tom-Yum-Goong. However, I watched a pirate of the foreign version for the longest time, until it broke, and when I picked up the 20th Century Fox version, I hated the soundtrack. I also think the American version is edited. I'd like to see a version with the original music (perhaps some edits could be done to make the story more palatable, but it's not THAT bad).

Lastly (and most obsessively) I also watched Oldboy on a foreign import, and later got both Tartan USA releases. There are a handful of subtitle things about the Tartan USA release that bother me, most importantly the repeated line "Even though I'm no better than a beast, don't I have the right to live?" On the foreign DVD, it was "Even though I'm no more than a monster, don't I have the right to live?", and the term "monster" is used in multiple places throughout the film, so I think to change the line is doing damage to a thematic line through the film, and to see it, and various other things restored would be great.

Info, & Help: looking for... Robocop - ITV Family Friendly "Freakin' Airhead" Version
Time
Also, of course, The Big Lebowski:

"This is what happens, Larry! This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!"
"This is what happens, Larry! This is what happens when you make friends with a stranger in the Alps!"

And The Matrix on TNT:

"Jesus Christ, that thing's real?"
"Jeepers creepers, that thing's real?"

Could there be a more emasculating, silly thing to say than "jeepers creepers?"

Waterworld ABC Cut? A ton of info - see McFly's posts for details (Released)
Time
I want to see this, can't wait until perhaps it shows on torrent. I always thought Waterworld had a Mad-Max-like quality to it and it's a shame it was such a flop for Universal that we'll likely never see a real release. It'd have been nice of them to put the deleted scenes on their HD-DVD disc, what with all the room, but nooo...
