I love the idea of this. And I really think it would be a bigger thing right now, both professionally and for hobbyists, if George Lucas had done this to Star Wars rather than adding and changing all the extra stuff.

One I thought about recently is Titanic. Everything looks amazing apart from the bits of the exterior of the ship sometimes, and the people down in the engine room. That one would be hard to do I’d imagine but wish they’d done it professionally (not as a replacement, just an option tho!).

But yeah, interesting point. I love the Chestburster one here, and the Apes one. Neat!

Looks like fantastic work. I’m so impressed by these clean-ups of older TV stuff. Thanks for your work on this - I wasn’t into Millenium but I’d be potentially interested in any other similar shows you end up fixing, if they’re ones I watched!

Bit off-topic, but is there a consensus on what’s the best upscaling possible to those of us without industry-grade hardware? I don’t just want to blindly plug it through Topaz if there’s a better way.

I’m really keen to try upscaling Jake 2.0 as it’s seemingly increasingly unlikely we’ll ever get an official 1080p release of it.

Yeah, it sounds great!

I now have it but haven’t had the chance to watch yet. Will make sure I give feedback once I have - it’s basically the fanedit I would have made, from the sounds of your changenotes!

I’d also like to know this please! I feel like I’ve missed the boat on private trackers these days.

Shocked they never did a proper DVD release of this TBH, with all the additional bits that OP has so tirelessly collected and edited together. Seems like a no-brainer. But I guess that’s why places like this are needed!
