It is a shame, because I love this edit and wanted it to be the "definitive" version (especially the Han shooting Greedo scene...truer to the OT than the Darth Editous version).
If ever you come up with a fix or if you have some references (guide, software, etc) for DIY, that would indeed kick some ass. Thanks!

I've found some audio issues in the DL version of ANH (dl'ed from a.b.starwars). There are at least 2 instances where there is a bassy "thump" that should not be there (haven't watched the entire movie yet, just some scenes). These occur approx. at:
0:58:57 (right after Alderaan gets f'ed in the a)
1:02:57 (right after the Falcon hits hyperdrive)
The following audio tracks are affected:
ADM's 2005 Custom Mix (5.1 Track 1)
2004 Surround Mix (5.1 Track 3)
I checked the other audio tracks, as well as the original 2004 DVD and Darth Editous' Ep4 edit...all of these play fine w/o the "thumps" (so I don't think it's my sound system).
Any previous record of these and/or are they fixable?
