I'm also eagerly awaiting the lossless files, stereo in particular, given that I only use headphones.
Clip 1 is out of sync but the other two seem fine. Beyond that I would be guessing.

Now that you mention it, I agree it would be better to give g-force some time for him to find the best way to fix this before posting any changes. I too have a lot of respect for his work, the GOUT is unwatchable without it. When the damn thing came out I never thought such improvement was possible.
@dark_jedi, I only have the PAL set for the time being, so no idea about SW and ESB
They both have the same "restore stars" code as ROTJ, so they should be carefully examined, though you said you were able to fix it without removing those lines so I don't really understand what's causing those artifacts.
@dark_jedi, these are from the first possibly problematic shot that came to my mind
AR should match yours this time and the screenshots are PNGs from lossless x264.

I guess it's because mine is a 50KB jpg (encoded twice) and dark_jedi's is a 500KB png

And I'm glad I could help, but please tell me how you got rid of it.
That shot is the only one with artifacts out of a 3 minutes sample, so it might be related to fast moving backgrounds.
The AR is different because I'm trying to make a x264/flac/mkv version, so it's going to be straight 2.35:1 instead of 16:9 anamorphic. I asked in the GOUT V3 thread and was told you're probably not going to make one yourself.
Hi all, I'm trying to run the ROTJ script v14.08, and I'm getting some artifacts on one of the small samples I'm using for testing purposes.
I've tracked down the problem to the "restore stars" portion of the script, but I can't find a way to fix it without removing those lines. Any clues?

hi dark_jedi, I've been following this thread for a while, huge thanks for all the work you're putting into this release.
I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer. Have you thought of making a x264 version for us heretics who prefer a MKV file to a DVD with menus? Sure it's easy to remux, and I'm planning to do so anyway to replace some of the audio options with lossless versions. But it would be better if it came straight from you; x264 should result in transparent quality at a reasonable bitrate, around 4000kbps from my own otherwise unsuccessful attempts at running g-force's scripts. Text subs would be a plus, SSA could be used to recreate the original subs while still allowing customization.
