STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

I'm wondering...isn't anyone worried about Lucasfilm filing a copyright infringement case here? Did anybody get permission to edit this film which is the property of someone else? Last time I checked, it was a punishable offense to alter a motion picture without permission and is enforced by Interpol? You guys are playing with fire here.

You're right about Luke not knowing about the force, however the Expanded Universe has no bearing on the designation of the R5 unit. The unit's designation was R5-D4. This was decided by Lucasfilm when the original line of figures was released in 1978. Even though it isn't mentioned in the movie, it's possible a 19 year old Luke could make the mistake of referring to this droid as an R2 unit even though it was of a different make.
