I think Blade Runner is an interesting one. I love the film to pieces and studied it in college heavily (i wrote a post-modern neo-noir essay on the film) and theres lots of material to discuss with all the various cuts. I would consider that a great film to investigate. And of course these are long projects, I would say minimum 12 months because I have other stuff to do aswell. Be a great summer project for me though.
I am a big fan, as I’m sure many of you are, of the filmumentaries Star Wars Begins, Building Empire, Jedi and the new Indie doc.
I am a film student embarking on a documentary module and was fascinated by these videos and want to make my own.
However, I want to know what people would want to see?
Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Godfather?
Or maybe Psycho, Citizen Kane or 12 Angry Men?

I have just bought a new VHS set from amazon of these. Im gonna record to DL DVDs and that should be good enough quality I think and I might edit. If they are good enough i could post some screenshots i supppose.

I chucked this concept art (its really bad I know) togethre in 2 mins for the lost opening shot. I envision a long shot seen through the binoculars and we see the space battle above.
It looks bad cause i have lost photoshop - i need to reinstall.
yeah im from lfl dont tell george ha ha ha lol! no i knew id have some negative feedback but wateva! about the cgi ive done bits here and there but nothing like this. ill just mention the start of what ill be doing - cg and slight vid for lukes face with audio dub from radio for the lost cut intro and then the two biggs and co del. scenes which ill enhance {their not that bad now} and music added from cds. thats just a portion of the intro i have planned. just so u can see where its going
what did you use to do the CGI ady? im just curious?
Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope The Lost Final Cut
So I have had some delays but I have finally planned this out and I want to write up my aims.
I aim to take SW Revisited and add in lots of extra scenes.
The first scene I am currently creating is a binocular shot looking at the space battle above with the audio from the SW Radio Drams over the top and then some edited CGI and Lost Cut footage and other SW footage to create that long lost first missing scene to introduce Luke.
Other scenes I want to create are some CGI space shots, longer shots on the Tantive, more death star shots, and more Mos Eisley shots plus lots lots more.
Some ideas i have thought up:
Im gonna add a pretitle squence of events during the old republic (KOTOR times) form some fan movies. Episode 2 is gonna include Han Solo and millenium falcon (thanks to blade runner) and the timing of the saga is gonnacondense (years i mean) so luke is born in early ep2.
loads of usual twekas ghosted qui gon etc. these are some quick rough ideas.
Idea: A new epic saga edition combining the best of all the films and fanedits into huge monumentous new episodes displayed in HD.
Redo every little detail.
