Help: looking for... a copy of 'Man of Steel Remastered'?
Time

Hello Everyone.

I am a new member of this forum and am learning about the different topics of discussion. Like many people, I found the Zack Snyder “Man of Steel” (MOS) movie to be too far removed from the Richard Donner/Christopher Reeve version(s) of the late 1970s and early '80s.

I have read about the different edits that were made to the MOS by the dedicated efforts of TM2YC and his creation of “Man of Steel: Symbol of Hope”.

Does anyone have a copy of this movie available and if so, what is the procedure for downloading it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I eagerly await your reply.

Yours faithfully,
David Brown (member name: davbro02@bigpond.com).

Ideas & Info: 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' - Supplemental Cuts
Time

Dear Tack,

I am a new member to this forum and am fascinated with Steven Speilberg’s 1970’s masterpiece (actually virtually every movie he makes is a masterpiece).

I was wondering, would it be possible to combine all of the deleted scenes with the new 4K Blu-ray movie to create a massive [nearly] 3-hour epic.

From what I understand, there are 11 deleted scenes:
In the Desert (where Flight 19 was found)
Roy at the Power Plant (where he is assigned to go out in a truck)
Roy gets directions (from locals in the rural regions of Indiana)
Air East 31 (where the passengers have their cameras and films confiscated)
At the Police Station (where the Sheriff berates his deputies for their reports on the UFOs)
At the barbeque (where Roy stares at a plate of jello)
English lessons (where Claude Lacombe listens to his interpreter)
On the Roof (where Roy is seen looking up at the sky)
Leaving Town (where Roy is confronted by Carl Weathers)
At the Gas Station (where Roy and Jillian are spotted by a helicopter)
In the spaceship (the brilliant scene from the 1980 Special Edition)

If you do combine all of these deleted scenes, I would definately by interested in getting a copy (even paying for it via Paypal if necessary - although that would probably violate the copyright laws).

I eagerly await your reply.

Yours sincerely,
David Brown (member name: davbro02).

Star Trek: The Motion Picture - Director's Edition HD Recreation (V3 Now Available.) (Released)
Time

Dear Electric Triangle,

I am a new member to this forum and I find the topics that you and the other members discuss extremely interesting. I am fascinated with seeing classic movies that have had their deleted scenes restored and their cumbersome visual effects upgraded with modern CGI.

I am wondering, would you please contact me with a link to download a copy of your Star Trek: TMP the Director’s Cut in the 1080p resolution? (I already own a copy of the original on DVD.)

Also, I am wondering, had anyone attempted to create a “real” special edition of Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind… with all of the deleted scenes included into the movie?

I eagerly await your reply.

Yours sincerely,
David Brown (member name: davbro02).
