There is a little about this back on Page 14 - here, and recent uploads of the ‘Audio Clips’ to the ALI youtube channel have been made available in the ‘Video Clips’ section - here.

FAQ #3 also has some brief notes on the ‘Audio Sources’ being used for the ALI Restoration. 👍

Hi everyone, this is Tony from Florida. I saw SW for the first time in 1977 at a drive-in theater in Tampa,Florida. I have been hooked ever since. I love all the SW movies Lucas did and I like Rogue One from the Disney era. I, too, am hoping for a properly restored original OT for theatrical and home video release. I have not been particularly angry that it hasn’t been released, rather, just puzzled that such a simple request has never been met by Lucas or Lucasfilm. It has also been frustrating over the decades with all the different releases of the original trilogy that have all sorts of bizarre anomalies associated with them. It would be nice to just go back to the basics and just have a nice picture and sound the way it was meant to be.
