Anyone have a either a direct download link or magnet link of this SE version or of the SE Laser Disc Rips?

Thank you! I’ve found it on PB, even though now it’s still stuck at metadata downloading.
My client shows I’ve uploaded over 17.89gb so far, so we should have at least one other person with the full file to be helping seed. Give it time.
V2 Torrent of my Upscale is live on the pirate bay. Message me if you’re having issues finding it.
I may potentially try a 60fps conversion for the fun of it at some point. I’ll let everybody know if I do
Octo, I’d love a copy of yours to compare with my beta version of my V2 (I couldn’t source a PAL copy and ended up having to fix the frame rate with an encode before re-upscaling).
Also, for the people waiting on my V2 of my upscale, check the same place as the first release of it in the next couple of days. Should have it up by Friday.

I would just start over from the PAL source–that is, if you’ve managed to get one. If there’s a delay in delivering the final product, so be it. We would just have to be patient and wait. We want the final product to be good.
So, thank you for doing it.
It’s an ongoing process at this point. I’m hoping to have a V2 I’m satisfied with by the end of this week (or potentially the following week)
Just for the historical reasons alone it would be nice to have! We’re counting on you darkzip!

I have the PAL video/NTSC audio remuxed already as well as Topaz. If darkzip isn’t able to do it, I’d be happy to do an upscale similar to what I did with Brave Little Toaster.
I’m willing to redo it, but I’m stuggling to find a good source on the PAL video. Is yours a direct remux of the PAL DVD?

Thanks for doing this darkzip. I just checked it out. Unfortunately you used the NTSC version of ANH:R but didn’t remove the 2:3 pulldown first to return it to its native 23.976fps and has resulted in a 29.97fps file with multiple duplicate frame throughout, resulting in jerky playback. You’re best bet would have been to use the PAl version for the upscale. It has a higher resolution than the NTSC and would result in an even better result. You can then just change the framerate from 25fps to 23.976fps without having to reencode and remux with the NTSC audio
I’m having a fanboy moment here, but thanks so much for making the original edit and for chiming in on how to improve my upscale.
I’ve got the upscale done. Looks great to me. I’ll do another post once I have it somewhere accessible to others.
search for it on thepiratebay
keep your eyes peeled for the eventual V2 with the adjustments suggested by Adywan himself
I ended up replacing my SD copy with a new remux of the DVD-9. My original copy was a badly encoded avi. Should be an overnight job now instead of a full day one
Аs far as I understand, the Standart Defenition of AHN:R is actually DVD-9, right?
I’m wondering is there any upscaled to 1080p version of the Standart Defenition, made by someone?
😀
I’m planning on upscaling it next time I go away for a weekend. The job should take about 20 hours on my PC via Topaz Video Enhance
Would I be able to get a link to the presynced audio track as well.
I’m struggling with getting my SE DVD track to match the bluray audio in audacity.
I still have my VHS Tape of SLV (even without having a VCR to play it on anymore) and would love to check it out again.
I’d be overjoyed if anyone could send me a direct or magnet link
You wouldn’t happen to still have access to the original unedited laserdisc rip?
I’d love to replace my aging VHS tape with this, does anyone have a direct download or magnet link?
Any updates? I’d love a chance to see the film with its true coloring
