A Long Time Ago... - Share Your Star Wars Story
Time

I didn’t watch Star Wars for a long time on principle. Of course, it’s not because of any beliefs, but because while I was about to do so, more and more episodes of the saga started to come out. Watching something out of order is something I can’t stand. Finally, the nine main films took shape (the ninth was already in theaters) and I watched them all at once.

Of course, only here do you begin to understand the importance of certain individual actors in world cinema. Harrison Ford is no longer just Indiana Jones to me. Natalie Portman won her career as an actress, as it turns out, a long time ago, when she was made queen of Naboo. And Ewan McGregor, after many of the most colorful roles, never became Obi-Wan Kenobi for me.

It was strange for me to watch after a quite modern beginning of 3 episodes (late 90’s to early 80s) the following prehistoric series set back in the late 70s to early 80s. When I saw the familiar shooters from the days of Windows 95 there, I came to an exuberant rapture. We have our own Yoda here, he also constantly rearranges the subject and the predicate. Pretty easy way to become a green-eared humanoid.

As I understand it, Star Wars is already some part of the culture. How many children in the world bear the names of Jedi and Leia princesses? George Lucas immediately grabbed 40 points from me in four movies and immediately became a favorite director.

It’s pointless to recommend this movie to anyone since everyone has already seen it. Maybe like me all at once, maybe in parts. And if someone hasn’t seen it, he won’t be dragged there by any glowing swords. But everyone knows the music. Anyway, everything is discussed at the Jedi Council)))
