SET 1 - A mix of several elements I’d used from this site - Thank you to everyone especially the designs provided by RonLim, and whomever made the VHS and widescreen sleeve designs that were so perfect. I added several new elements, retouched / replaced some of the images for color balance, and based the slip case off the laser disk box

SET 2 - My favorite covers from the widescreen vhs days with manga insides. These also had insets i’m not showing.

SET3 - based on laser disk sleeves

These are all amazing!! Though, is it just me or is set 2 using my covers as a base? Anyway, I’d love to get a download for my own!

I’d love a download link as well for all three. Does anyone also have the printing instructions, like what paper to print on and settings and etc.

Episode VII : The Force Awakens - film & fan art, + covers etc
Time

What do you think the color scheme for this episode would be. The VHS releases of the saga as well as the 2004 and 2006 DVD releases had the prequel trilogy in warm colors, particularly reds and oranges. While the Original Trilogy was colder, blues and silver, etc. What would this trilogy be. As of now I find that warm colors look good on most posters.

Edit: Also what is the font used on the covers for the episode names. I’d also be open to any font that looks natural next to the Star Wars logo.

So I now own a copy of Star Wars TFA (just the basic one, no special edition cover) and I have to say I’m somewhat disappointed. It looks very modern and basic and lacks the words “Episode VII” which has baffled me since it was also left out in virtually all promotion material. The cover would really stand out next to all the other Star Wars movies and I figured this could be a topic that compiles the TFA covers. I plan on making one at my leisure. I’m mostly after a cover that would fit in with other standard DVDs/Blu “Rey”.

Here are some test frames. Tell me what you think. I couldn’t find good frames for Episode VI so I just have IV and V.

STAR WARS Original Trilogy 4.00:1 Aspect Ratio

I thought this would be a fun test. Fairly simple too. I plan on using the Harmy despecialised editions to make an Ultra Widescreen tilt and scan/letter boxing of Star Wars into a 4.00:1 aspect ration. This aspect ratio was used only once at the end of 1927s Napoleon. This is purely for kicks and giggles. I was wondering if anyone has same stills from all three movies in their original aspect ratios. A google search brings up several different options in screen size. The more the better. I just want to test it out and see if it is worth doing.

you working on this or is it stoped?some news?

Sorry but it is currently in hiatus. I will still work on it in my limited free time but between my computer problems and me just being really busy nothing will be ready soon. If anybody wants to do this or can do this faster then me I will greatfully let them do it. I know I am not the best one for the job and mainly started this since nobody else has started a project that fit my vision. But again, I'm sorry but I cannot get this done as fast as most of you would probably like.
