ROTS: Palpatine's Diatribe
Time
I think going out like a punk was getting shot in the back by Clone Troopers, getting killed off in a way that is pivotal to the story is not. I think it was clear that Palpatine was letting Mace win and picked the exact moment to look weak just as Anakin was coming in the room. Further evidence is that Palpatine seems to be toying with Yoda as well and not taking him seriously at all almost like he could take him out anytime if he wanted. I also thought that his face always looked like that and the Chancelor image was a mask and he did not need to hide anymore since his plan was now underway to become emperor.

Episode 3: Fan Editing Ideas Discussion
Time
Overdub all droids and aliens including Grievious and the doctor droids at the end. The whole idea of her losing the will to live is stupid. Also, the whole exchange between Padme and Anakin on her beuty can be cut too, completely unneccessary, just drop the whole thing. I think also dropping the dreams would be good too, I'm trying to remember if in Episode II they showed dreams and I don't think they did. And of course the Vader scream needs changed.

How do you rate EpIII?
Time
I can't believe anyone would think ROTS is better than ANH let alone on par with ESB. I think it's debatable that it's better than ROTJ but the characters in ROTJ are much better as is the dialogue and that goes a long way. The only bad thing about ROTJ are the Ewoks, there are plenty of bad things about ROTS. My rankings:

1. ESB
2. ANH
3. ROTJ
4. ROTS
5. AOTC
6. TPM

Although if you take Magnolia Fans' Balance of the Force I think that is better than ROTS, he did a fantastic job editing the movie to make it much, much better.

Episode 3 was disappointing on many levels...
Time
I was hoping it would be second to Empire but it's not even as good as Jedi. But saying that I think it still blows Phantom and Clones out of the water. People in the theater were laughing at the Emperor's disfigurement and I think he looked like Quentin Tarantino after he becomes a vampire in From Dusk til Dawn. THe Frankenstein scene was also pretty chees. I guess the issue is the parts that were supposed to be serious came off rather poorly and were funny and it killed the little suspense that could be built up because we knew what was going to happen. As far as R2 goes, I was thinking he could have get messed with by the Jawas in A New Hope and he does get beat up quite a bit in that movie.
