Hey folks I just stumbled over the 4k77 ,4k80 and 4k83 versions and this webpage!!! How could I have missed that?!?!
I’m a 34 year old 3d-artist from germany who has worked in the film and game industry and I always was annoyed by the remastered StarWars versions. ILM removed all the matte lines from the optical printer compositings and I always wanted to see the original VFX shots/scenes without the digital cleaning and without the new colorgrading!
Can’t wait to see original versions with all those mattelines, imperfect mattepainting picture steadiness and so on!
