Hello all!

I recently finished my latest stop-motion short-film, this time it being Star Wars themed. As you can probably guess by the title of this topic, it might very well involve a Twi’lek associate of Jabba 😎

The idea for this short came up when my friends and I when we are at university in late 2019, where one of them (whom isn’t a huge Star Wars fan) found it interesting that there was so much Expanded Universe content surrounding it. He, in particular, grew a comedic fondess for Bib Fortuna, and soon, the phrase “De Wanna Wanga” found it’s way into our vernacular. This short kinda just was brewed from this bit of fun, although it was definitely not intended to be as long as it turned out, however, I’m happy nonetheless, and hope some of you may find some laughter in it too!

Hello!

New to the site, been a fan of Star Wars for many, many years. I have fond memories of watching my dad’s Original Trilogy VHS tapes as a child, and reenacting (and failing haha) to recreate the magic with my Lego. Star Wars is definitely one of the main reasons I’m so interested into filmmaking, and probable the main reason why I animate (stop-motion, to be precise). When I first started out I would just scramble together my Lego and try my best to create my own stories within the Star Wars Universe, but, capture it on film (or digital, whatever way you look at it)
Anyways, been working on a Star Wars stop-motion (finished it yesterday), and it would be real cool if I could “show it off” haha!
