Honestly, I don’t know how to do subtitles, and it’s not something I’ve ever been too interested in learning. Making subtitles isn’t particularly fun, and this is a hobby I do for fun.

Just finished watching. Great work, the best edit of this I’ve seen. Probably one of the better fan edits overall… Didn’t feel like there were things cut that much, which is an amazing feat.

Just finished watching with my gf. Episode 1 wasn’t really salvageable, but oh man was this such a good edit. Felt like it was supposed to be like this all along. Great stuff!
Only thing I miss is the High Ground line, I think it shows their relationship as master and apprentice well, as he most likely taught this to him. Also the memes.
Really looking forward to the new version of this, of course for the deleted scenes but that democracy line is gold too. modern context aside it shows the conflict of ideals more. Maybe too heavy-handed for some but it is a over-dramatic SW scene.

TestingOutTheTest, we did have discussion I believe about this. To me, it shows Rey’s hubris in assuming Luke doesn’t understand Chewie. I would’ve prefer Luke respond snarkily, “I know what he said.” But otherwise I don’t have a problem with the line.
As for the BB-8 whack—a-mole, it just simply never bothered me. Everyone has their line for humor, and this one didn’t cross mine.

It is with great sadness that I must announce that my mom passed away a few minutes ago. I will be halting work on V2 temporarily to take care of my family. (Unless I feel up for it, which is possible.) When I go back to work on my fanedits, I will put up a dedication to my mother at the end of my special thanks credits for episode II.

So, I believe that only leaves DTS audio (incoming from ChainsawAsh) and cover artwork (forthcoming from Movies Remastered). Then I can release V1!
