The combination of Google and this forum helped me find a decent copy of the Apocalypse Now 5.5hr workprint.

I was at a conference in South Carolina about two years ago and someone showed me a workprint on their laptop that had a scene from the Civil War film Gods and Generals which I had never seen before. It involved Jeff Daniels and Mira Sorvino’s characters attending a play and meeting an actor by the name of John Wilkes Booth.

I have yet to see that scene on youtube or any DVD features. I can only assume the person with the movie was telling the truth and really owned the workprint. I never got his contact information.

If any of you film buffs know where this is available or if you can even verify that the workprint does exist, I would greatly appreciate it.
