How would one go about accessing these rips if they don’t have access to tv vault or spleen? I’ve been looking for these versions for nearly 15 years.

I too am not a part of TV Vault or Spleen. However, it looks like someone has been restoring them to the original format on YouTube… https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaeMV8OeMJZz2zl7YpHTj1Q
The quality isn’t the highest, but Old Indy is back. I’ll be checking them out on that channel until some of these are available elsewhere.

That’s great news, thanks for sharing! Checking them out aswell, with hope & dreams for remastered quality (+ subtitles) some day eventually in this century.

PS: About subtitles, this for the mentioned “new” Youtube-version isn’t something that might be lying around in the dust on the www, right? I find some of the “local” european (etc) actors’ accents a bit hard to understand comfortably (but at the same making it authentic in a good way naturally, which is one of many great things about this series)!

+1 appreciation for the original TV-versions in whatever quality!

Did first discover the film-versions going on day-TV in the 00s as a kid. Been enjoying re-watching the DVDs-sets a couple of times in the last 10 years.

Have seen some Old-indy bookends & the “Making Of” found on Youtube, and browsed some enthusiastic wikia-alike-resources like https://sites.google.com/site/youngindyfilmlocations/

Made me curious on how the original editing was like watching, what of the material that was shot later on to make the film-edits etc. Awesome production value on these, favorite series/movies of all time!

Will follow this slow - but definitely not dead - thread and see if anyone(s) pulls it of eventually 😃 Thanks in advance for that

Cheers!
