This is such a mixed blessing. On the one hand, I am super excited for this release. On the other hand..ohmygodhowlonguntilEmpireandJedi!?!?! :P

My (admittedly awful) attempt at mind-reading indicates that Harmy has plenty of changes planned for ESB and ROTJ, but not nearly so many as he had for Star Wars.  Compared to the Special Edition of Star Wars, the Special Editions of ESB and ROTJ reflected a remarkable amount of restraint by Lucas.

Now would the lack of changes (in comparison) be due to the fact that Lucas was not the director for ESB and ROTJ and he may be respecting the artistic vision of Kershner and Marquand? One can only hope haha

My editing and postproduc skills have waned considerably over the years, so i'll offer this: i have a number of friends who have never seen Star Wars (unacceptable i know) and I will be showing them the OT starting with v2 of Star Wars so i applaud Harmy's projects and everyone else who has been blowing up my inbox with new post notifications with tips and assistance tfor Harmy!! Let's pass on the magic!!

Just got an account here, hate that I have to do this but as much as I love Star Wars it's faster then searching through 185 pages of comments.

1st: I downloaded the demonoid torrents for the entire trilogy and have the iso files. Are these the most current or has there been a new release?

2nd: If anyone can tell me how to mount the images so that i can play them or can point me to a thread that does explain this, please instruct me

3rd: If i burn the files to a dual layer dvd, will it still only work in blu-ray players? im assuming so, hence the earlier question in case i want to show them to someone who has no hdtv/bluray capability

Thanks, I fully and deeply appreciate the help that is hopefully forthcoming.
