DVD Covers (Eps. I,II,III, V & VI)

Amazing,
I love the back page, with just the movie poster there, it's simple yet so effective... Although I do have to say that I feel that the font type (Avant Garde), and the colour (white) which is used for the back page text feels kind of out of place with the whole cover.

Perhaps it would be better if you chose a font that closer matches the other fonts used, as well as a slightly different colour for them.

awesome work on the covers though

(The cheapskates, I might call 'em.)

Hey Rikter! I'm not actually sure what the protocol is for what to say in those TXT files ... But you can get most of the Deleted Magic writeup info in my own words from:

http://starwarz.com/deletedmagic

Hope that'll do it.

EDIT: P.S. ... I suppose it will get around via torrent to certain people now ... but those of you who were smart enough to get the real DVDs, with the logo printed on them, will be happy soon ... when I post the DVD box cover art for printing at your leisure. =) Waiting on our cover artists to do their magic. Professional guys they are, a guy who worked on the famous posters for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Struzan Mallrats poster, Fargo, Bruce Almighty, Shrek 2, The Contender ... and then a guy who painted the Wonderland poster is doing a Struzan kind of painting for the cover ... Waiting to hear from them.

Very weird, these guys just came out of the woodwork, they dug the film and wanted to do a poster for it. =) I feel mightily honored.

Garret,
can the deleted magic disc still be ordered? The original I mean...

Not entirely sure Rich,

havent got one myself yet, picked up an iPOD instead a few weeks back, if I walk in with a PSP in my hand, the wife is gonna shoot me Afaik, it's a simple upload process as with any USB device, the format of the video is standard also, you can take a look at the www.doom9.com forums for the exact specs. Only problem is that you need a 512mb or bigger memory stick to fit a whole movie, and they unfortunately do not come cheap...

Is that the glare off of the plastic of the DVD case, or is that chrome actually shiny?

The printout preview posted is what you get when printing the cover on silver foil-like paper or on a transparent placed in front of a silver / chrome like background. Because of the reflective nature of the material they're printed on it's almost impossible to get a good shot of what they look like when printed out. It really looks good though.

The boxset spines ligned up:

Flat preview of the ROTJ cover (mind you, the front and spine hadn't been finalised yet back then, the above posted preview is the final version):

I'll make arrangements so you can dowload em. Just keep em to yourself ;-)

so i am really really interested in getting a hold of these covers, any one know the best way to contact the artist??

Hi guys,
I's there any chance that someone could provide me with a link for the Full REZ images of the 4 boxsets, and if possible or available the supplemental cover...

Thank you
Alex

if you look at the files that you downloaded they will start from xxxxx.part01.rar and continue all the way to xxxxx.part93.rar, please select part01 and open with WinRAR, click on the extract button and point to the directory where you want it extracted, come back a few minutes later and WinRAR should have extracted the full contents of the downloaded archives into the specified folder.

If WinRAR fails to extract the files, then you will need to use QuickPAR. You will need to use PAR files to recover the missing volume. You can find QuickPAR on the link below. With QuickPAR select the "Mysterious Mysteries - SW pre-anh.par2" file, QuickPAR will then scan each RAR volume and will mark the bad ones in red or orange depending on the error, once all the volumes have been checked it should present you with a button to 'repair' the missing / damaged volumes. Once it's repaired, go back to the instructions on the top of this message to extract the files from the archives.

QuickPAR
WinRAR

Hope this helps...

I played it a few nights ago on my 'theater wannabe setup'

Panasonic AE-500 Projector, on a 118"x80" (approx) screen, and it's no short of amazing, the only issue which I faced was that the DVD is 4:3 and on a screen this size it really doesnt go well, but I managed to use the Projector Zoom function which worked wonders, and spread the image against the whole screen. The DVD player used was a Philips DV642.

I simply cannot wait to see the other ones.
