Best Of Both Worlds
Time

The special editions RUIN the rhythm of the films. Just check the butchering of ROTJ at the end. It was PERFECT. Why they chose to destroy this beautiful piece of film making is beyond me. And the Jabba's palace song change..WTF! In '97 I saw this in theaters and wanted to throw up. The original song Max Rebo plays- "Lapti Nek" sounded just like music you would hear in some other galaxy, now it just sounds like another lame 2000's CGI cartoon movie song. Star Wars is much too good for that. Why, George, why? Please stop hurting us.....

What actor/actress would you like to see in new Star Wars Movies?
Time

Original actors only in the lead spots, please. No generic 2000's actors, thank you. We don't need generation facebook dweebs like that Hayden Christiansen buttwipe ruining any other Star Wars films. OK?  BTW, Leia is WAY sexier than that generic Padme'...Leia has more attitude and would be  better in bed. But if you like cold fish..well, Padme' for you.

Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time

It really should have been Spielberg. He understands REAL moviemaking, not just CGI and fast editing. Star wars should have more in common with ET than Transformers. And PLEASE no "new" actors for the good guys. Original actors ONLY in the lead spots, not a bunch of good looking generic 2000's people.

Which version/release of the Star Wars movies do you watch and why?
Time

I alternate between the CBS/FOX VHS box set versions(1987?) and the 2006 DVD bonus originals, with only occasional viewings of the special editions, which usually leave me furious. (especially the butchering of Jedi, my favorite film). But yeah, the originals on DVD look decent enough, but sometimes I like the fuzzy, full screen VHS rental look that I remember from the 80's. I'll keep doing this until they finally do us some justice!
