I’ve only seen Rebels once, a few years ago, so I can really give any feedback on the text itself, but what I can do is comment on how it looks.

The last couple of years I’ve read quite a few crawls and one “flaw” I often see is that there is too few characters/words in some of the lines. In this one I feel some of the lines in the second paragraphs sticks out, especially the first and the seventh (but also some of the others).

In my opinion there is to much space between the words on those lines. The lines is so spacious that the reading-experience feels “off”. I feels more like jumping from word to word, than smooth reading.

I would recommend to try to rewrite/shuffle some of the wording in the crawl to get more text in the lines with the fewest characters 😃

For the time being I am saving these edits until season 4 is complete, and downloading the new episodes and their updated edits when they come out. However, it is not always easy to keep track over everything, since you are so god damn productive! 😄

Therefore I humble ask if it would be possible to add a new column in your spreadsheet (next to the version-column, maybe?), that indicates when each episode was last updated?

So this masterpiece yesterday evening and today I woke up with a smile on my face. I try to fathom the work and effort put in to this, but it is so overwhelming. I am so grateful to Harmy and all of his “crew” for this incredible achievement.

(just for the fun of it I was watching the whole “special thanks” in the closing credits to see how many nicknames from this forum I could spot - and was quite stumbled and confused when I saw my own real name in the list. After a few seconds of wondering what the heck was going on, I figured out it was my Patreon-subscription that was the cause! Those were some really confusing seconds!)

It’s a little bit amusing that some are “nitpicking” on the nearly perfect AI-line from Leia, in a scene where all we see of her is a dark shadow. The AI-voice is not the problem in that scene!

I’ll post in this thread, but this shouout also goes to NeverarGreat and poppasketti for their work on Starlight and Rekindled - and everybody else involved these three movies.

I really liked TFA when it came out, was in disbelief when I saw TLJ in cinema and I had already given up the ST when TROS came out. I saw them once more a couple of years ago and… let’s just say I did not change my mind.

Then I saw your fan-edits this weekend and I have not been able to come around and comment on them before today, because I’ve just don’t know what to say. I’ve been in absolutely shock in the days after, of the astonishing work you all have done. I was enjoying the hell out of this!

You managed to take the ST-turd, put some glossy paper around it and I really thought I was eating chocolate while watching these movies. By the time the jedi ghosts appeared (holy f-ing crap, that was fantastic!) I was totally in shambles: I was sobbing and I apparently got a bit of allergic reaction because my eyes were getting mushy.

I have no idea about editing, so I can not really grasp all the hours, work and commitment you all must have been putting down to get this to be how good it is. And I really don’t know how I can express my gratitude towards everybody involved in making them.

So I’ll just make it very short: Thanks boys and girls, from the bottom of my heart - you made Star Wars great again. I’ll be forever grateful.

I asked for a link to a high bitrate version a few weeks ago, but unfortunately no-one seems to be able to share it. Hopefully NeverarGreat will be back from his hiatus soon, but until then I’d be more than happy to watch Starlight in a lower bitrate.

So if anyone could send me a PM with information about how to get the edit, no matter what bitrate, I’d really appreciate it.

This edit was one hell of a joyride! The movies flows so much better with the “No Moe intro” and without the stupidity of Bor Gullet. It really blows my mind how talented some fan-editors are.

My nitpicks are, as others also have pointed out, the saving of the girl and the missing “I’m blind”!
I also don’t see the need for the scene where Saw thinks Jyn has come to kill him. I never really got why he would think -and say - this. Even tough the poor guy obviously is quite off.

Anyhow, this is now my go-to-version of Rogue One. Thanks for your effort with this edit and for sharing it with us!

This last poster looks great, the only thing I don’t like is that it spoils “the kid”. But then again, anyone who will watch this movie knows what he is.
