skyjedi2005,
If you hate the prequels so much, don't think about them.

Watch out for this.
All the movies I have rented had special features.
I've seen Inception! What's the next step?

The Happening.
Not as bad as I had heard, but not great either. I really liked the concept but some of the execution was lacking. And some really terrible acting by big name actors, especially Marky Mark.
Did you know that Marky Mark has a third nipple?
I'm sorry.

Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Gahoole.
Charming film, surprisingly exciting.
DVD had 14 min of unskippable previews, and no features. Scene skipping was done at 10 min intervals, with scenes sometimes 'starting' mid-line. Never seen a DVD of a major release so shoddilly done.
My Mom loves that movie. The blu-ray has a pretty decent amount of bonus features.
Episode III: Complete piece of sith
Episode II: Hey look, we filmed with digital!
Episode I: Gotcha!
Every Wednesday at my local Showtime Video they have rental for just one dollar. I will rent them on that day just so I can see what the bonus features are like.
At one point bkev said that I had the best username on the site.

Anyway, just finished watching The Room. The Citizen Kane of bad films.
Couldn't agree more! However, I just watched what must be a close second, Troll 2. Just fabulous. Thanks to whomever recommended it to me (bkev?).
I too have seen Troll 2, but it doesn't come close to the masterpiece of The Room. (sarcasm)

Huh?
Anyway, just finished watching The Room. The Citizen Kane of bad films.
The Day After Tomorrow.
"Changes" by David Bowie. Big surprise.

A young Sluggo (age 6 or so) was quite spooked by Son of the Blob.
How does The Blob have children?

Aliens was OK, but I don't like how awful the dialog is.
You guys must be watching a different movie.
Said the great almighty Hudson:
"Game over man, GAME OVER!"
I prefer Alien. Aliens was OK, but I don't like how awful the dialog is. That's why I'm waiting for Alien to get an inevitable individual blu-ray release.
The series premiere of "Face Off."
I knew there were a lot of changes, but I didn't know there were THIS MANY!

One of my favorite movies of all time :-)
Can't stand the "Special Edition" though. DC is the best, with the theatrical cut a close second. But the "mothership" footage alone ruins the SE for me completely.
I agree. The special edition is my least favorite as well.

Am I the only one who didn't really care for Moon?
Well, everyone has different tastes and opinions, but what didn't you like about it?
I just finished watching the Directors Cut of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

NO ONE HERE EXCEPT FOR ZIGGY STARDUST HAVE A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That wasn't very nice to say to all these good people.
It's in store. I'm not sure how long it lasts. I was there on the 19th, so that was last week. It could vary depending on where you live.
It looks great. They have screenshots at blu-ray.com. There is also a good amount of bonus features.
