Looking for good inexpensive turntable
Time
I haven't had a turntable in awhile. I've got a fairly large collection of vinyl and I want to start listening to it again.
I'm looking for a good yet inexpensive turntable. Budget is around $100 and below. I know I won't get the best within that price range.
I'm also looking for one that has a built in pre-amp.

I've even seen usb turntables that record directly through usb to a computer, but I'm kinda leary about those because I don't know how well they perform.

Any advice or ideas would greatly be appreciated.

Any other suggestions?

I'm already working on doing a Reckless laserdisc to dvd preservation.
I suggest that you keep trying on ebay.
I kept looking on ebay for several months almost everyday until I found a Reckless LD.

Not sure about the use of WMV-HD VC1, though. Apparently the smart kids are now using x264/AC3 in mkv. Don't have a 360 myself, but might consider getting a DVI to HDMI cable just to see how this looks on a 32" LCD.

I love x264/ac3 mkv files.
I watch them through my htpc.

Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN

Did you see The Devil's Rejects? If you did and can critically think about films, I don't see how you can say anything negative about its crafting. You may not like it as a movie, but it's a seriously excellent display of directorial prowess.

I saw Devil's Rejects. It was much better than House of 1000 corpses.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Zombie for tackling this project. Rob Zombie is a huge horror movie fan. He even said in an interview that he is trying to stick to the feel of the original Halloween. I just hope it does in production and filming of this movie. I'm not knock him as a director at all. I just didn't take House of 1000 corpses seriously. I kinda had the feeling that he wanted people to feel this way about the movie. But, that is just my opinion.

I'm iffy on this one.
I hope Rob Zombie does this film justice.
I'll probably go see it.

HOW COULD ROB NOT DO THIS FILM FRANCHISE JUSTICE ???

I don't take his movies seriously
I laughed more at House of 1000 Corpses than was grossed out or scared.

I'm certain he will be able to pull this Halloween movie off. I read one of his interviews where he said that he wanted to keep the feel of the original Halloween movie and keep the fans happy. I just hope he pulls it off.

Soundtracks!

The only other way I could here this is by getting the vinyl record from the 80s (don't have a record player so that doesn't help) or spend regular price on a rather low quality bootleg of the soundtrack, if I can even find it.

Or pop in the DVD with isolated score...but that doesn't have the concert arrangements and deleted cues this limited release had. I'm so happy.

I'm going to check that one out now.
I have the dvd that has a 5.1 isolated score on it.
Does this torrent have it in stereo and mp3 or lossless??
