In the opening scene on the Tantive IV when the rebels are setting up to defend the airlock, one of them leans on a door frame. The antenna on his helmet is tall enough to go out of frame and aligns well enough with the door that that it looks like a crack or a seam in the door’s frame and makes it look like it’s rotating with the trooper when he leans on it.
For quite a while this kept distracting me when watching that scene and was only while I was writing this post and watching the scene in slow motion that I realized that it was actually part of the guy’s helmet and not a seam in the door’s frame.
Is it possible to shorten or remove the antennae from the shot? I realize I’m probably the only one this bothers, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.
